This place serves many different types of pork hocks (read that 10x fast ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). We got it barbecue braised and it had a nice charcoal flavour to it. It also comes with a bean sprout soup and some side dishes and lettuce for you to make some ssam (lettuce wrap). The dish gets quite heavy by the end of it but the bean sprout soup helps with the greasiness.
My wife had tried jokbal when she visited Korean before, and dragged me here after seeing the raving reviews. We ordered the original jokbal, the DIY rice ball, and the $5 pork bone soup special. Each item was total perfection in terms of flavour and portions, and still tasted amazing the second day at home. Will definitely be back to try the other jokbal flavours. It appeared they only had one server when we visited Friday evening, but service was still quick and attentitive.
Tried the spicy jokbal with cheese and mixed rice balls and they were really good. Portion is a bit too much for two but definitely love the taste.
Would come here again. The portion was great for two. Really loved the garlic sauce.
Amazing place! Everything is so good and the service is good too!
Thank you for these delicious plates and very good service! They were all perfect and that pork back bone soup is only 5$ when you order a main dish which is really worth! It's just too sad that I live too far from here.
I’ve been having intense cravings for jokbal. I ordered from here for the first time via Uber eats and was a bit hesitant because it was a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth every penny! I was tempted to get the original jokbal, but opted for the spicy jokbal. The portions are huge and the flavours are delicious! The spice wasn’t overkill, but it builds a bit as you eat more of it. The side dishes were also very tasty.I’ll definitely order from here again!
So delicious!! And the owner? Manager who worked yesterday was so friendly. I tried original jokbal and it wasn't smelly at all.

I've had this place several times now. First time as takeout and then as dine in. We ordered spicy jokbal with rice cake, seafood pancake and the mixed rice balls. If it's your first time trying I'd suggest to sub with regular jokbal. The rice cake is nice and chewy, but they only give a little. Rice ball is definitely worth to try, simple ingredients and it tastes great all together. The food is super worth it, we had group of four eating and it was real filling. averagely $25/person.
