This used to be my #1 favorite place to dine (pre-covid). It was amazing then. Sadly now I would much rather do without . Seems new people took over which is the worst thing that couldve ever happened. They close way too freaking early, the price gouged everything. Staff is very "ant-social", no greeting or friendliness whatsoever. The portions have drastically decreased making the price of the meal insane. The cook (if they make the rules) is very stingy with the fries you get in your meal. When you are paying like $13 or whatever for fish & chips, Im sorry but you shouldnt be giving just like a half to 1 handful of french fries. With your prices you ought to be more generous with the portions. They even got rid the of the Pop Floats. Like Wth! I will Never eat there again
Service here is disgusting!! I can not believe I walked in with my friend and the lady aggressively starting speaking to us. Tried to persuade me from ordering what I wanted to eat like who does that! This location needs to take notes in customer service before they open their doors for business. Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful
The fish & chips at this location is terrible. The fish portion is small, squared, greasy and flavourless. I asked a question about substituting the fries with a salad and was rudely told to check the menu. The Danforth Avenue location is much better. The Kingston Road location is closer to where I reside but I rather drive farther to the Danforth Avenue location. The Danforth Avenue location fish & chips (and salad) have great tasting larger portions and friendlier service.
I wish I could have given half a star, we picked up two orders of halibut fish and chips with a side of coleslaw, I will never go to that location again, the fish was dry and the fries were mushy and greasy, the coleslaw was tasteless much like eating plain raw cabbage, the worst meal I’ve ever had, I don’t recommend it. The two meals cost over $50
i know everything’s changing, but i just had halibut house at the end of january. ordered two halibut and chips and a kid’s halibut and chips. i had a couple friends visiting. they were impressed with the portions. i was satisfied, too, but i did notice a difference in the fish portion compared to what i had previously received.

Great value! Fish is good portion and the barter is not overwhelming which is usually the case with fried fish - more fry than fish. Hostess was very helpful and food prepared quickly. I got the Tuesday special
While the food was pretty good, the haddock and fries, we were overcharged and missing a piece of fish. When we called to try and work something out, the staff was very disrespectful and not willing to provide a credit or offer any sort of compensation. It was our first time trying this place out.
I tried your food tonight and I have to say it was fantastic I will be back for sure. The cashier was friendly and smiling the type of service you want from people.
