Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!
We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!
Was here the other day for my birthday, we usually head to another place down the road but the wait was over 2 hours so we decided to head somewhere new. Glad we did, the decor here is outstanding, tables and seating and very spacious Guybee where they pack you in like sardines in a can and place ugly plastic see through curtains between tables. The cooktop burners here are actually clean and cook perfectly even as well not one sided like other place. The dipping sauce is great with also the option of a sesame sauce not found elsewhere... The meats are fresh but not as seasoned as I'm used to and the bibimbap rice is a bit on the sweet side for my taste, kids loved the bigger selections of dessert and ice cream.. And the host was very friendly and accommodating.. He also mentioned they are in the process of expanding the menu! We will definitely be coming back
Restaurant was super clean with lovely decor. Surprisingly it has 2 floors! Service was quick and impeccable! Our food orders came right away and servers are very attentive. I like how some tables are much longer to accommodate bigger party sizes and more dishes but even with that, all their tables have only 1 grill. If you're going with a party of more than 4, you probably won't be eatting as much since you'll all be waiting and sharing that 1 grill. The price on a weekend for dinner is $40.99. They add auto gratuity of 12%, which isn't too bad. They also have 5% off discount if you pay with cash. They offer great meat quality and cuts but they lack in marinades. There is a vast array of hot dishes and appetizers. I'd highly recommend the Shrimp Tempura, Chicken Karaage and Pickled Cucumbers! Crème Brûlée was good but not as good as Gyubee. The texture reminded me more of flan when it should have a smooth consistency, similar to yogurt.
The price is a bit expensive for an AYCE BBQ but this place puts in the effort to make it much more fair. They have good cuts of meat and an extra sizable selection of hot/cooked dishes to have alongside. They are not just throw ins either. We had the karaage and veggie tempura which was better than most AYCE sushi places. Their selection of dessert is a bit lacking but they serve some really great creme brulee. It's not fancy enough that you get the glass like top layer but the cream tastes absolutely divine. Not many negatives to say about this place. I would definitely recommend going here if you have something special to celebrate.
I really enjoyed this place. My brother and mom and I came for dinner and there was so much variety and everything was fresh and delicious. It's a little pricey but totally worth it. The creme Brule for dessert was amazing, I kept wanting more. The staff was super friendly and quick! I would definitely recommend!
2 hours of AYCE experience at Gyu Hito Japanese BBQ, with great service! The staff are always clearing empty plates at our table to make more room for more dishes. They are always changing our grills without us even asking, so we really appreciate that :)There is only one grill at the table (our party had 5 people). The couch seatings are very comfy. I really love how spacious it is inside with the crazy high ceiling, and beautiful chandeliers! AND my hair and clothes do not smell like bbq after, that's a blessing ^^Oh by the way, this is where the old Destiny bbt used to be! Gosh, teenhood memories lol.I would recommend trying the following items if you don't know where to begin:• Tako Wasabi• Kimchi (must order!)• Boneless short ribs(Get some green lettuce and wrap this with some sweet kimchi, so good!)• Fried chicken karaage with mayo• Fried tofu (make sure you eat it right away while it is crispy!)• Shrimp• Clams with sake (must order!)• Creme brûléeThey do have Melona popsicles for dessert as well. They have mango, coconut, and the classic honeydew flavour! Not sure if they have a popsicle limit tho :p
Great comfort food Korean place. Staff was very friendly. The food was very rich in depth of flavour and not overwhelming. The meal felt like I was eating in Korea. The kimchi suited my palette really well.
We went there around 7pm and thats almost the most busy time of the restaurant. The meats are good, and we ordered some really nice beef. Our meats are delivered a bit late, since it’s weekend, it’s kind of acceptable. Our server Jenny was kind and patient to help us check our foods. The price is good as well comparing with other AYCE. Definitely will visit again, overall 4.5 out of 5.
Absolutely phenomenal service, the staff is extremely mannerly and well-trained! The restaurant is also very beautifully decorated
