The food was great, had reasonable seasoning and portions and the prices aren’t too crazy. The restaurant also had a lot of room and an open concept, we managed to book a reservation for the weekend since it got packed quick. The service was great as well, only problem is they love taking short cut paths so they kept hitting my mom’s chair. Tea charge per person is $2.00 and the tea tasted good. Overall, will come back to try on a weekday since I was told by staffs that it is 4.50 for S/M/ and L.
Great spot for dim sum, a huge variety to choose from, all dishes were fresh and delicious! Dim sum dishes range from $4.50-$6.50 a dish depending on the size which is a very reasonable cost.To find more tasty eats, follow me and check out my page on Instagram @hungrysimo
A nice comfortable Chinese banquet hall, serving Cantonese cuisine and Dim Sum lunch, good quality food and reasonable prices. Nice banquet facilities with ample stage and adequate audio/visual system. A busy neighbourhood hangout for lunch & dinner.
Good location for dim sum. The place is usually busy. You have to order from the paper. If you want the noodles you need to go after 11. The Cantonese noodle in the pic was good plus the short ribs were good
This is Combo E, and it's good for up to 6 adults. It's almost a full course meal. It's just missing the fried noodles. It starts with Fish Maw and Seafood soup. You can add either red vinegar or white pepper to the soup to add in more kick.Roasted Peking Duck comes in a 2 courses meal. For the 1st course, the carved out crispy skin is eaten in a flour wrap. You can add in some garnishes with your wrap like carrot sticks, sliced cucumbers and green onions. Drizzle a bit of Hoisen sauce and enjoy. The rest of the duck is either chopped up and served. For $10 more, you can eat it by wrapping the diced duck meat in lettuce.4lbs of Fried Lobsters in Maggi sauce at 2lbs per Lobster, stir fried Cuttlefish and Scallops with snap peas and celery, leafy Snow Pea sprouts and red Goji berries, and Seafood fried rice with Lobster paste. For dessert, you get Red bean soup, cookies and Red Jello. The restaurant stated you can either pay the bill with either a credit card or cash. We wanted to pay by credit card but their machine was not working at the time. Luckily we got cash on hand. There is ample parking space. There are washrooms available at this restaurant.Their outside patio remains closed at this time. The servers still wear face masks. ?
We wanted to take our fily to dim sum and thought we would try this restaurant. The restaurant is big inside and seating was spacious. The captions and wait staff were very accommodating to our needs. The food in my opinion was ok. We ordered our dishes and they arrived a few at time after 10+ mins. for six people it was about $25 per person not big appetites. My food tast rating would be 3 out 5 stars...
Lots of dishes to select from, great value especially if you get the cash-only early discount before 11am (4.50 for S/M/L dishes). No reservations accepted before 11am because of this.We were seated on the stage area, and it was hard to find wait staff to help us with things like extra cutlery or tea. Food came out a little slower than “normal”, but the food was decent. Managers and wait staff were very friendly though!
Grandeur Palace is a wonderful place to have dim sum. It's a very busy establishment even when this restaurant adhere to covid-19 dine in restrictions. You order at your table by selecting the food items you want to order. The waiters or waitresses will bring out your food pipping hot directly to your table. Those push cart or trolley days have been long gone since covid-19.Go very early to score on the early bird special. There is a tea cup charge per person. There are lots of parking available, but this plaza is overwhelming busy so plan ahead and arrive earlier than normal.#dimsum #chartwellplaza #scarborougheats #grandeurpalace #chinesefood
I have been here for dim sum on a few occassions. Ordering is off a menu; there is no cart service.I have always enjoyed the food. It is tasty, has been fairly consistent in quality and portion size and is reasonably priced.Service is consistent with other dim sum restaurants I have visited which is to say the emphasis is on efficiency. They are after all dealing with a massive amount of orders for a full room. I don't recall an order ever needing more than a verbal correction if the wrong dish happened to be sent to our table. They must be doing something right because there is usually a line up to get in before the doors open. If you get there that early then parking in the lot is not a problem either.Enjoy!Update February 2022: Still good dim sum and their selection has had some updates. Looks like their dinner menu has some interesting specials.
Ghetto but the dim sum is good.
