We ordered the Grouper and Sea Bass grilled with batata hara, hummus, fresh pita bread, mixed vegetables and tahini sauce. The fish was so fresh and delicious grilled and the sides were really good. The restaurant was clean, spacious and staff were nice. There was about a 50 minute wait for the grilled fish but it was worth the wait. It was my first time visiting and I will definitely return again.
Ghadir has to be one of the top spots in Toronto if you really are craving middle eastern food. Have been visiting ghadir for sometime now. Everything is top notch but my favourite item has to be the fish. The usual wait times are between 40 to 50 minutes, but well worth the wait and tastes beyong expectation!
..0 STAR.. I don’t know what’s wrong with this restaurant ?♀️ it’s my second time and I’m completely disappointed chicken shawarma was awful? OMG smell so bad and also was row chicken.. we ask them to change our meat but they said buy again & they will give us 25% discount?we will never come back this place again
I got there early was no one there from the entrance the handicap button didn't work I let them know then I order fish they never told me will be one dollar extra for each pound they clean I also order shawarma the guy showed me the fish was nice at first I bought 5 pounds of talipia plus a Sharma combo i know dosen't take 30 minutes to clean fish my mother used to sell fish so I know how long takes after a long time finally I got the fish because I was already walking too much because they asked you to go to pay then they call you for your food then I have to go back to sit down then they called me again at the point I couldn't go back and forth anymore I told the guy who bring the fish to me that dosen't take 30 minutes to clean fish he trying to give me the excuse that he had other orders so I reply I came early was no one here then he said we have phone orders and that is ok but he never told me he will do first his big Muslim customers and at the end the handicap Spanish lady. then to top things up he said I'm sorry we wasn't to your expectations. I reply you charge me an extra dollar to take the scales and the head of the fish he didn't even fillet them by this point he just walked away. to all my neighbors do not step at Ghadir if you are not a Muslim he gave me a dirty look. overall I will never step at Ghadir meat and restaurant. used to be Paramount.
I tried the fish & chips the day before and came back to get grilled fish and it is delicious. You pick a fish type and they charge grilling fee or deep fried fee; i order a cheap tilapia fish grilled and it is only $11! Call ahead to order as it takes about 30 min to grill
I was really looking forward to eating at this place. But due to lack of time, i ordered fish n chips. Who can go wrong with that. Well AL GHADIR can!!! They served dark brown fish that had a bit of a burnt smell... either they burnt the food n served it, or they dont usually change their oils which subsequently leave that burnt smell.Plus, for a fish restaurant, I'd expect better presentation of food, not dash done my ease are eggsVery disappointed!!!
Hands down the Best shawarma that I've ever had I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu ???
Great chicken, great beef, great hummus, and thus, great shawarma. This is the place you need to be in Scarborough (and arguably the entire city). It doesn't matter whether your heart desires a plate or a sandwich, your needs will easily be met here, and then some.Follow @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food
We ordered grilled chicken, salad,French fries & more all good chicken was not so so hot, busy shop and recommended by many peoples
Very good quality as well as quantity of food. The best thing they have is the GRILLED CHICKEN. If your in greator Toronto region then don't miss this place out.
