The manager came to check on us every visit.Wings were a great deal especially on Mondays. Out of 3 baskets though I believe 2 were re-fried so they were a bit too overcooked and hard. The BBQ flavour was a bit too salty.But overall I've returned for another meal.
We were supposed to order at another restaurant, but we decided to give this one a shot and ordered their boneless wings, which were not what I expected for a $30+ food. Each piece is so small. I'm really disappointed, and it doesn't even taste good, not worth $30+. This is our first and last visit to this restaurant. If you're looking for boneless wings, check out the restaurants I've reviewed. Their wings are far better to this.
My boyfriend and I came here with our daughter on a Friday night and we love it here! We’ve come many times before and sat on the patio, this time sat inside and had such a comfortable table with the hockey game on right in front of us. We weren’t next to anyone which was so nice! The food was AMAZING. We got 3 appetizers and a delicious pizza for $65. The waitress was very friendly and not over bearing.
I pick up my breakfast here every Sunday morning and it by far the best breakfast in the area. The waiting staff are always friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. For breakfast.Your breakfast is great no complaints there, but I just placed two orders of your chicken tenders and fries and the chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp and hard not really tender at all and the fries were horribly dry. I think in the future I'll just stick to your breakfast menu. Very disappointed ordering supper from your restaurant. Especially when I'm a regular.
Updated review of April 6:Management did update the description on UberEats and reached out to me. We got to try the Chicken Penne without all the cheese, and it was good. In both versions there seemed to be a good amount of chicken in the pasta compared to some other restaurants where there isn't much. That makes it more appealing and a better value. I think the good customer service and the intention to make and serve good food is a huge plus for Gabby's and we would be happy to order and try something else from here again.Original review of March 15:The food is alright - the 10oz steak was a bit small and fatty, but more problematic is the Chicken Penne Alfredo, which on the menu says "Sauteed chicken, onions and garlic in a creamy alfredo sauce. Served with garlic cheese fingers" - Nowhere does it mention that the pasta is covered in cheese! My husband can't have things with a lot of cheese, so this is a waste of money. It should say there is cheese on/in the pasta so people can make informed decisions.
Menu is a bit limited. Not the best chicken wings I've had. The hot wings are very dry. Honey garlic wings taste similar to what you get at the grocery. Smaller intimate atmosphere. Prices are pretty good compared to other bars. Good for families.
I hadn't been to Gaby's for more than a decade. My wife and I decided to dine at this new location at the Parkway mall in the Victoria Park and Ellesmere area. It is a small location but the table distribution makes it look roomier than it actually is. The lighting and ambiance were a perfect combination for a romantic dinner. They have good food and good service. I would definetelly go back
Came for the half price wings on Monday. The calamari was delicious, the wings were amazing and the service we received from Deborah was outstanding!!
Went here on a weekday evening, ordered burger and fries. The food is okay and the staff were friendly. The women's washroom was well maintained during my visit.
This is a Uber Eats review. Tonight we tried the 2 for 1 Wing special via Uber Eats and it was a pretty good deal overall. The food was prepared fresh and delivered fairly quick. The honey garlic wings were above average but not as crispy as I’d like but maybe that was because it was delivered. I might try asking for well done next time and see how that goes. The fries were pretty awesome I must say. It was a nice experience overall so I’m sure we will try them out again someday ??
