The quality of the food has definitely gone downhill. I always order take out and last week the gyros was very dry, old, dark looking and salty and the souvlaki was salty as well. The salad was literally just huge chunks of uncut lettuce and the feta tasted off, the texture was different as well. Only ate the potatoes and rice and ended up throwing out most of the gyros and chicken souvlaki dinner unedible. Very disappointed as this was my go to for Greek food.
My wife and I recently attended here and was completely turned off by our server William. His attitude and professionalism was completely uncalled for. I would of never though how much of a problem it would be to split our bill into 3 ways. ( and then the attitude) Its not even like the restaurant was super busy.We also found a hair in our Calamari which they immediately took back and exchanged it.We will not go back.
The staff is amazing, the food is fabulous and the place is very clean... which is always important, but is especially important in today's climate.... speaking of which... the sanitizing stations are all full and it's the sanitizer that evaporates, not the sanitizer that feels like soap.If you need to use the restroom (which is also sparkling clean), please be aware that there are stairs. a lot of stairs. And if you're like me, because of the above mentioned climate, stairs and I are definitely not friends anymore *eye roll*. There IS, however, an elevator....I was just too embarrassed to use it ?... but its very nice and shiny!
Floga has been a perfect venue for a Suprise Brunch to my mother’s 60th birthday. With making the reservations and given an accommodation until all my guests are confirmed, I’m absolutely happy above and beyond with the great customer service, excellent food menus and the ambiance was stunning. We all felt important and comfortable with the long table being set up and an extra cake table that was provided. The waiter was very patient in getting all the guest seated and took the orders. Thankful
Nice Greek restaurant if you’re in this area. The inside has plenty of room with a nice casual decor with properly spaced out seating for social distancing. The service was ok but could be a bit better overall but maybe they are short staffed due to the pandemic so it was reasonable I guess. The price was a tad high but I guess everything has been inflated a bit recently. The food was above average with a nice menu that had plenty of variety. The stars of the show tonight were the Pork Kontosouvli and the complimentary garlic bread was nice along with the Greek salad and the roast potatoes were delicious. The Souvlaki dinners had good flavour and the meat was nice and tender too. I’d recommend to give it a try one day as I’m sure I’ll return again one day as well.
We came here yesterday for our anniversary and we love this place. The food is so good. My husband ordered a lamb cooked in tomato sauce with vegetables and he said the lamb is cooked perfectly and tasted great with the sauce. I also ordered a lamb chop and I loved it too. The service here is very nice and friendly. A lady also came and asked us how we felt about the food.
Good spot, good ambience. Food is super bland, I am not a Greek food fan but my safest option even back fired.It seemed like they have all pre made food.Waitress was super nice and they accommodated our big group. If you are looking for authentic Greek food, I would be cautious and just go with decent expectation.
Great place to check out in Scarborough for Greek food. Great service and friendly staff - our group was taken care of by Anna who is amazing ?I had the beef souvlaki which was fantastic - it comes with a greek salad and you get 2 choices of sides. I went with vegetables and the beans and it was great.I definitely want to be trying the other souvlaki dishes next time I go.The restaurant itself has a great vibe and ambience. We sat in the patio area. The patio is shielded by glass from the sidewalk however there’s plenty air and breeze coming through.This is a great place to come with friends, family, or even for business.Keep up the great work Flago!Dean Kulaweera
One of the best Greek restaurants I've been to in a long time. Initially came with the recommendation of a friend and I am not disappointed. The waitress was great and full of energy. The food arrived quick and tasted amazing. Restaurant was clean and overall the experience was great. Will definitely be returning and bringing more people. The Lamb Fournou melts in your mouth with a good helping of veggies and potatoes. My husband loved the Grilled Eggplant dish. There's always plenty of pita bread and garlic bread to start. Their wine menu is decent and well-priced. And the patio is now enclosed to shield against the wind; which is nice. We've always had great food and service at a great price at this restaurant and last night was no exception. Floga has the vibe and atmosphere of an upscale restaurant but without the hefty price tag or attitude
