This restaurant is located in the Scarborough skycity plaza; the prices were average but the unique thing about this place is that they serve the food on cast iron plates. Problem is, as cool as it is, the plates are very, very hot, so be careful when moving them (the plates are on wooden pallets but plate is still very hot).We got some rice dish and when you cut open the rice, the sauce inside poured out all over the dish. They even had a poster explaining how to eat the dishes they prepare. I would recommend trying at least once.
Really tasty! Went with a friend and we had the Spicy Mentaiko Beef Udon (not spicy in my opinion and the beef is hiding under the udon in the photo) with an extra fried egg and the Okonomiyaki Fries. Would highly recommend getting the extra fried egg with the udon- the yolk makes the sauce so much creamier. After eating the udon, you can soak the extra sauce up with the fries and the bonito flakes with the fries goes really well with the mentaiko flavor of the udon. Honestly, we didn't really have high expectations but the combo surprisingly turned out really good!

Went to this place for the first time to celebrate early Valentine’s Day and the food was great! The servers were really responsive n the food came out fast af all at the same time. Really good experience
Tried the hamburger steak rice Platter and added a fried egg, food was delicious and very filling really worth the price ? 10/10 would recommend
One of my favorite places to go if I'm around the Midland and Finch area. From the abundance of restaurants you can choose from at this plaza, the Flaming Hot Kitchen is one of my top recommendations. Not only is the food delicious, but this restaurant also has an extensive menu with very affordable prices--- perfect for students or anyone on a slight budget but still wants to enjoy delicious food. Definitely try this place if you haven't already!
Great concept, everything I have tried is delicious. My favourite is the rice cakes. Dishes are perfect for sharing, they also have desserts. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly.
Delicious food (Ordered the Tomato Seafood soup with Udon) and food is served quick! Servers are attentive and my water cup was not empty for more than a few mins.
Surprisingly very cheap and affordable! I ordered the Supreme Beef Rice and it was only $10.99! Portion size was quite generous in my opinion. Their menu is very extensive so there's a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely be coming back to try out more of their food + desserts and drinks.
Delicious food. Portion sizes are smaller than I expected, but overall it was enough food. The desserts are delicious. The food is also a little on the pricier side. Customer service was very good as well. Will be coming back ?.
