Dumplings Korean Chinese

The food here is so good!! Haven't been back here in a few years and was pleasantly surprised to see the clean renovations. The original owners came from a part of China near Korea which is why they have Korean dishes available but even with the ownership change, the Korean food is still really good and stays on the menu.Must order: steamed chives/pork/shrimp dumplings. The dumpling skins are thin, filling is seasoned well and very juicy. We also got the mooshu pork and Korean pork bone soup. Mooshu pork was great with wok hei and came with what seemed like homemade wrappers. The pork bone soup was piping hot with four generous bones. I prefer my gamjatang a little more sour but it was still very satisfying.Skip the scallion pancake though, there isn't much scallion in it.

Excellent food (their Mapo Tofu is killer) and great prices. I will definitely return.

Great Scarborough hidden gem! I’ve been here a few times for takeout and the food is delicious and always fresh. Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had, and it takes me 20 mins to drive home and they are still amazing, they travel well. The potstickers are so good they have so much filing in them, very generous portions. The braised eggplant with pork is great, the sauce is not too sweet or thick like most other places, it’s tangy with a great consistency, good to eat alone or with rice.**Now let me tell you…** if you have not tried their fried sweet potato dish you haven’t truly lived. It’s a great dessert I get it every time, crunchy sweet and salty candied sweet potatoes, they are addictive!!!Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Dining room is spacious and clean. Thank you for all the dumpling and great food, I’ll come back again and again!

Wow!!! Didn’t really know what to expect with it being North-Eastern Chinese, but LOVED the strong flavours! Significant Korean population or migration historically too, so their Korean cold noodles is actually good too! It’s a bit chewier than other places, so would be a welcome Chinese twist on it.Got the recommended #2 dumplings and Beef Pancake with Tin Foil too.Looking forward to coming back and trying everything else!

Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!!We got Lamb Meat Dumplings and Beef Noodle Soup. The Dumplings came steaming hot, wrapper was the perfect thickness, the filling was juicy, flavourful, make sure to dip it in vinegar and chili oil!! The Noodles were OK, beef was tender, it only came in a few pieces, noodles were overcooked, but the broth was flavourful!

14 dumplings come in a large steamer for about 8 to 9 dollars!! It was well seasonedI'd suggest to stick to the orthodox filling, as the lamb dumpling was quite gamey and salty, unfortunately. Otherwise, the assorted dumpling and shrimp was super good!!

The Korean style cold noodle was very good before the management changed. The food is still decent but doesn't have that taste anymore. Everything else was good, service was good. They did a good job renovating the place with new flooring and painting the walls.

All dishes yummy their noodles very tasty . Their shrimp melts in your mouth> Lechon is a must . Staff friendly.

I remember that their guobaorou was good so I decided to visit again. The lady at the counter was so nice and friendly and helped me with menu. Because of her I was able to order foods successfully and my family enjoyed them!Definitely recommend guobarou, dumpling (#2), buckwheat cold noodle.(And i think they only take cash)

Came here back in the summer time. We ordered lamb dumplings, braised pork pancake wrapped in foil, green onion pancake and mixed 5 colour vegetables. Everything was delicious and came out pretty quickly. Can't wait to try more from here.
