I have not have your doubles for quite some time now. It used to be the best pace to go for doubles in the GTA.Yes prices have increased but your standard of quality have decreased substantially. Today I found a stone as well as many hard chickpeas in the doubles. I am also sorry to say that the taste is not the same as it used to be.
Ordered via Uber eats pretty close to closing and was pleasantly surprised that the food was still warm and fresh tasting. Everything was delicious, recipes were unique to the restaurant. Tried the curries, as well as the appetizers/sides. Doubles were messy as people have mentioned, but doubles are a messy food in nature, still great! Definitely recommend trying them out.
visit for 1st time very nice. Dhall Puri was so tasty and large. purchase 10 to take back to ?? large Portions
*woodbine location* What a horrible experience ( mind you this wasn’t my first time) decided to travel to Drupatis with my family for dinner, but before I arrived we called making sure they were open till 10 and would be able to seat us with no problem… We literally traveled all the way there get there 2 -1 1/2 hr before close only to have them pack up our items to go AND give us thin paper plates to eat out of with plastic cutlery at the table … we get our shrimp roti and what a COMPLETE MESS! (They didn’t have potatoes which was fine and they did mention ) BUT they basically gave us raw dough you can tell the item wasn’t cooked through, no gravy, wrapped the roti incorrectly, and placed 6-7 little pieces of shrimp in the roti for the same price! Unhappy with our order we brought the roti to the ladies at the front and they began to argue and give us attitude ..the chef comes running to the front yelling escalating the situation saying she gave us more than the 6-7 and that there was nothing they could do because none of them were managers or supervisors and they couldn’t redo the mess they gave me or provide a refund!! Claiming they called the manager ( which I know they didn’t ) they gave us the run around for 20 mins only to claim the manager told them to call the cops… finally getting the manager who heard the story ( who also didn’t handle the situation correctly after hearing the type of service AND product we received) decided to refund us for ONE roti and a mouth full of pure excuses… what a waste of my money and time … we stood there for so long no one even knew how to process the refund on top of all that mess.. what a joke those are who you leave to run your business???... they literally caused a scene, called the cops( wasting resources) lost loyal customers, and got a horrible review for 6-7 shrimps!? Not worth it … especially if your customers are voicing their unhappy with what they received…… Never will my family go back here! ( and I’ll ensure everyone I know won’t as well)
Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Got the boneless chicken curry with rice. Nice portion and presentation. Food was okReturned today to try something different. Tried the bone in curry goat with rice. This was so much better than the curry chicken. Very flavourful and tender. The food does require the addition of pepper sauce.
Recently renovated and clean place. We onlyTried the double and it was pretty good.
I have been going there for years. Just need to call ahead. Very busy. The doubles are the best. Love it
Returning to scarborough after 5 years my first stop was the new location for drupatis. Its nice to see that in the 10+ years i have been eating here the quality never changes. Had doubles saheena and aloo pie and it was all fantastic and the same amazing flavours i miss now that i live on the west coast. Will be back many times before i head west next month.
Excellent Custom Service! Excellent Food. I did however misunderstood one this with the Special Chicken Fried Rice with Chicken on Top … I was offered Shrimp on top for $5 more … I thought I was getting the fried chicken on top as well as the additional pepper shrimp offered for the extra $5. But to my surprise it was just shrimp on top, no chicken.But all in all, a great vibe when entering and very spacious layout.Thanks again!
Keep your money and go somewhere else at this point. I’ve been coming here since they were at the old location but not anymore. Before they would give salad on the side when you order a curry chicken or curry goat meal with rice. Now they don’t give any salad and if you want salad I’m sure they’ll charge you $5 extra for a few pieces of cucumber and tomato. I’ve also noticed the food portions are smaller than before. They also cook the food, freeze it then reheat it back up when they’re ready to serve the food which makes the food taste terrible as it’s not fresh. One time I ordered crab and I couldn’t even crack the shell open because it was cooked, frozen then reheated. Also cooked chicken isn’t supposed to be pink inside. Never coming back here again.
