What a sweet (pun intended but also appropriate) little gem this turned out to be! So many treat/dessert choices, amazing, nostalgic atmosphere inside, and delicious ice cream in my belly now! We will definitely be back!
Nice little unique looking interior, i had the shake and fries. The shake was good and the fries was great nicely salted and very hot. I got the tandoori ketchup but didnt taste much tandoori. More seasoning would taste better!
I visited this dessert shop two weeks ago. I was delighted to find such a highly-rated place so close to my home. The Ferrero rocher milkshake we got was authentic and delicious. As for the overall vibe, while I do find their concept to be unique, I think they need to do a bit more for the vibe to work better, like brightening up the place. Maybe use the arcade theme to their advantage and add a few more arcade type games. I found the current setup to be a bit too dark and depressing. Also, wait times kind of suck, but I understand because it is a family owned and run business trying to do its best during covid. The pricing is pretty high, but the portion sizes make up for it for sure. I went with one other person and we split one milkshake (about $12), so it was almost like two drinks at any other dessert place for about the same quantity.I can definitely see myself coming back here just to hang out and chill with a friend or two as a once-in-a-while treat. #supportlocalbusinesses :)
Usually love this place for a nice dessert, but this time I went I found a hair in my ice cream. It is very disturbing when a company is not sanitary, especially during covid.
Portion was huge, environment was nice. Their ice cream is not very sweet and makes easy to eat. Great value.
An amazing palce with great ice cream creations and even better fries! I ordered regular and got a portion that looked like a four time regular McDonald’s fries.
Went with my (6yo) daughter one Sunday afternoon. Kind of reminded me of a museum of movie props and articles (bonus points for the Vader helmet!). Got the salted caramel fudge brownie shake, and my daughter a small mint choc chip. The young girl that served us was so friendly and accommodating, she was really fantastic. Couldn't believe the size of the small, 3 scoops! We took it home after, and she enjoyed the rest later. My shake was probably the best I've ever had. Will be coming back with the rest of the family.
A few friends and i wanted to grab some ice cream. So someone suggested cones and characters in Scarborough. Ive never been there before but everyone was raving about this place. I normally dont come out this far cause i live downtown toronto., but i am definitely coming back again and with more people. This place has such a really cool vibe and the owners are such nice and accommodating people. We went closer to closing time and they let us stay to enjoy our first experience eating thier ice cream. 10/10 for great combinations of different flavours, and the hospitality. Wish i couldve tried them all. I got the soft serve salted caramel skor and it was simply amazing. Cones and characters Scarborough thank you again for the great first experience. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Definitely worth the drive. We will definitely sèe you again soon.
Stopped for a treat on our way back from spending the evening at Terra Lumina, so many things on the menu, but we tried the birthday cake and the fruit loops cones which were great!
Amazing customer service, that I got from the girl, whom was serving me. She always has a smile on her face. She is super quick. There's a lot of different flavors of ice-cream as well.
