I have ordered tehari online. The food was extremely dry, few dry pieces of meat seemed like cooked looong time back. Please do not waste money and order from her! I would choose other restaurants over this moving forward!!! We also ordered mutton biriyani where the meat pieces were alien meats that smelled and tasted like something else!!!
Tried their Beef Kalabhuna served with Polao and Kabab and Shorshe Ilish served with plain rice, Kabab, and Daal. They didn't had many items available from the menue, especially, Ilish polao. Service was little slow (we were the only dine-ins with many takeaway orders) and the portion of Shorshe Ilish was small. It was just 2 small pieces near the tail of the fish. Maybe they ran out of fish that day and couldn’t say no to us! But the wining item of the day was their tamarind juice. Overall, minus the Shorshe Ilish, every single item tasted good. Will visit again sometime to try the Ilish polao.
I ordered weekly meal after like a year yesterday. I used to be pretty satisfied with the meals before. I understand the price raise but inconsistency in amount of food given was sad. It says it’s 400g, of course not. Chicken had barely three pieces.I was really happy with catering service we took for my brother’s wedding program.But weekly meal was sad this time.
Was a big fan of this restaurant but unfortunately, the quality of service is getting down over time. Had a few guests at the house and we ordered for them through Ubereats. Order is accepted, it says they are preparing, then wrapped up and someone got there to pick up etc, then suddenly after 1 hour and 40 min later they cancelled the order. We just kept waiting for 3-4 people in our house who wanted to try ChawkBazar for the first time. It was a very embarrassing situation.
Simple, nice interior. Staffs are well mannered and served well. However, the food quality could have been better. After waiting 30 mins given a promise for freshly cooked food, we received Luke warm dishes. Chotpoti and fuchka tasted blunt. Naga crab didn’t have naga flavor, luchis were okay. Overall, average experience except the part that they were playing Bengali songs.
Awesome Kacchi Biriyani and everything. Delicious Bangladeshi food Alhamdulillah. Kala vuna was very Masha'Allah. Halal food Alhamdulillah.
Non Edible burnet rice , almost one third portion. Not going again.This is not the delivery container, we went there for dine in last night, i have the receipt, we ate some and packed one bowl in the box provided from the shop.First they said mutton biriany is finished and we requested to check if they still have in stock and they said yes and gave this.**** adding on 13 Jan 2022Thank you very much Chawk Bazar Authority for the $20 coupon that they sent me after seeing the review and investigation, The more important thing than the money was, they cared about the review and immediately mailed me about my complaint. We tried a couple of packages of mutton biryani again yesterday and didn’t find those burnt staff in them and it was tasty. The kitchen person should be careful next time so they do not serve any food if the food is not good. But things happen. Its more important that they cared it. I am happy with the service.
Worst kachii ever had. Ordered 1 tray of kachii with chicken roasts. Paid $85 with delivery at Brampton. Food had no taste at all. For sure it was frozen. Never recommend this place. Be aware.
I ordered eight beef kacchis, and then I changed my order to seven beef kacchis and one mutton kacchi. The employee said he could change it, but he didn’t. It’s also very expensive, $16 for Beef Kacchi. Are you mentally ill? The taste of the food is nasty! Borhani is also very nasty! A health inspector should visit this place! The beef has a lot of fat, and everything is under-seasoned. I wasted $200 on nothing. It’s the nastiest thing ever! Don’t go to this place. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Don’t go to this place no matter what!! Bye, this is the nastiest kacchi I’ve ever tasted!They replied to me and said I was a liar. When they lied about me, If you eat this kind of biryani, you'll get literal heart disease." I ordered it because they falsely advertised their food on Facebook. They took another restaurant's food and said that it was theirs to make their food look good. It is made of 75% oil, 29% beef fat, and 1% Biryani. They have the worst customer service and a nasty attitude. Don't go to this place at all costs. I threw it in the trash because it was so nasty that it gave me food poisoning. I have been living in Canada for 20 years and have never had nastier food than the kacchi I tasted from you guys. Do you know what Kacchi Biryani is? Because your Kacchi Biryani looked worse than my vomit. It tastes like a rotten meat corpse. Nobody in their right mind would go to your restaurant! This isn't Bengali food; it's garbage. If it tasted good, I would have bought it for $1000. If I had known your food tasted like garbage, I would have never ordered it! Lol, How pathetic that you guys say I'm lying. When you knuckleheads are fictitious liars.I hope people don't fall into your trap like I did. This is what you call the biggest waste of money. I hope nobody ever tastes your food, It tastes worse than rubbish. They called me a beggar, When they beg you to support them! Bye, Please don't visit this restaurant at all costs!
Good food, great ambiance. We have also catered events with them and always a good experience!
