Pleasantly surprised by the customer service post pandemic.I'm sure almost anyone reading this can relate to this, but post pandemic, service levels have been deteriorating in every restaurant which usually gets blamed on the pandemic itself. Chakos was the first welcome change from that for me in Toronto.I've visited this location multiple times in the past. The food quality is still the same (excellent for the price) and offers a very good vibe and atmosphere for what you pay for. The meat menu is absolutely delicious, ribs (bone and boneless) are delicious and my favorite. Chicken and beef and great too. I go to this location mostly for the meat, so I can't comment on anything else, but if you're a meat lover, you'll leave happy.But what impressed me most was how amazing the customer service was. I was constantly checked in on regarding the quality of the food and any additional orders I wanted in a pleasant and non intrusive manner, a glass of water was offered swiftly once my ordered drink ran out with smooth refills before the glass ever got near empty. They quickly cleared the tables of empty meat trays, food and drinks were served fast and quick and the experience was absolutely worth recommending for a family or friends out.

The server was kind and attentive. He was very helpful. You get your money's worth and you take home the smoke for your friend or family member to sniff who missed the fun.
Amazing Korean barbecue, the food is so delicious but what makes want to go back again and again are the staff, they always go above and beyond and they are incredibly attentive, they always make sure we have everything we need and they never make feel forgotten or not cared for. The only thing I don’t like is the mandatory gratuity tip, it just makes things unnecessarily complicated.
Rustic Korean bbq experience with a wide range of meat options - chicken, beef steaks, pork ribs, lamb and sea food including salmon, squid, shrimps on a live gas fired bbq table. Unlimited Sushi and Soup options are also available on the Menu. Ensure to giv the count of servings in your order as by default we were given 3 plates of each bbq item - which maybe too much.. 2nd order can be given.. 1.45 Mins given for each table. Not much vegetarian options on the bbq - Onions, Mushroom, Pineapple. Single serving of ice cream for dessert (pick from chocolate, strawberry and Vanilla.. Cost - 35$ approx per person. For 3 ppl costed 120$ including gratuity and taxes.
Food was ok. I had better though. Sushi was awful. BBQ ribs were good.Way too expensive. The waiter tells me there's a 12 percentage service fee and also I need to tip. Basically you need to double tip here. My bill for 2 person was 140.00Never going again.
Lots of parking available.Customer service is good. Friendly and helpful Uk stuff.All you can eat bbq . It’s not authentic Korean bbq it’s more of fusion . Korean n Japanese.Chicken and ribs are good .Seafood was ok but lack seasoningVegetable option is ok again basis . Pineapple was good.Sushi option was adequate for bbq place. Taste wise 7 .
Went there for the first time. We were happy that we got the table immediately considering a Saturday night dinner time. Friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Easy to order. We were delighted to see that sushi was included in all you can eat dinner menu. Lots of delicious sides. The meat was delicious. Shrimp was skinless which was great. Timely service. The mock tails were great and yummy. The ice cream were good but little bit hard . My plastic spoon broke! We ate a lot. Enjoyed very much. Parking lot is pretty big since it’s at a plaza. Highly recommend.

We were are a party of 2 and got charged 12 % surcharge plus a gratuity . What a rip off. 12% surcharge for 2 . Absolute robbery . If they had informed us at the beginning it would be a different story. Now reporting to BBB.
