I usually try different places in Toronto for self pleasure cuz I’m a big foodie and food is literally my biggest pleasure and no one has please me with my moneys worth more than this place I love the shrimp fried rice, chow mein, the wings are real nice as well as the jerk chicken, the beef curry is not much to my liking but “to each their own” ?????? ? ? ?
After being away from Toronto for 9 years i was amazed at how things have not changed, as a matter of fact it may have gotten better. Ordered a jerk wave fried rice. The jerk chicken was a little dry, probably was sitting for a while but wasnt bad just not aa fresh juicy as i remembered. What trumped the chicken was the fried rice. The portion is so generous 2 people could have eaten. The rice was amazing chock full of chicken beef and shrimp (not deveined btw). Rice was fresh and tasty just the right flavours. Oh how ive missed caribbean wave.
I went to the restaurant today i asked for hot Buffalo wings and when they came out there was so much pepper and no sauce when I mentioned what is this i told them to make new ones and they put the sauce on top of the same wings it was so hot i was on fire I'm sorry if I'm complaining about it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone please follow your customer service request more closely to get better results in your survey
The shrimp and chicken fried rice at this location is pretty tasty and fresh. This is the one fried rice where I eat all of the vegetables with no complaint because texture and flavor is spot on.If you are like me, if I am passing through Toronto, we buy several orders to drive back to Ottawa as we cannot find food like this in the nation's capital.

Use to order religiously regardless of the price, but my last two orders I noticed the chicken on top is now 4 pcs (VERY SMALL) , and trust me you can tell and see the difference!!! . What happened ?.. compare to other restaurants with the same kind of food and you still two complete chicken legs .. Good bye Carribbean Wave
The food had no taste at all, especially the chicken. Never ever going back there. And would not recommend.
Carribean wave should really package people's skip the dishes order's better to ensure there is no tampering with the food.
I remember price was only $8 for caribbean wave fried rice before covid. During covid it turned to $12 more or less. Last month it was priced at $15 more or less. Now they upped the price again $18. I go here for decent cheap food. Now I find it appalling. not worth the price when the taste is just okay and not great.
