The hot table in Calabria Bakery has different delicious options made with fresh ingredients, the lasagna is my favourite. The pizza is made on a wood fire oven, it’s the best pizza in this area of Scarborough (sold only on Thursdays and Fridays). I love this bakery! ❤️
Good spot for a quick bite. The prices are reasonable, the hot food is tasty, staff is friendly. The baked good are the best, doughnuts and pastry. The Italian tomatoe sauce has a great flavour, make sure you ask for extra. Pasta is cooked to the right consistency. You will not regret if you are craving some Italian without breaking the wallet.
Dropped in not knowing what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their hot dishes. Please keep up the great work warming hearts with authentic style food made with love :)
Very friendly staff. Small family owed Italian restaurants. Oven baked pizza is a must try they only have this on Thursday n Friday!
I am giving this place a low score based on the service I received and the fact that they were out of pizza. I dropped by this establishment to try the wood oven pizza and to my delight at approximately 2:20PM in the afternoon on Dec. 9th, (keep in mind, they are now open till 5pm), the lady behind the counter said they are not making any more pizza for the day. I then asked what time do they stop making the pizza, she said 230pm, then she corrected herself and said they ran out of dough. Not impressed. I then took the two slices that were premade and paid 3.68$. Not happy with the price. The slices are tiny and the pizza was hard as a rock, as she did not offer to warm the slices. This is a safety hazard.I can't comment on the pizza as not enough bites to enjoy as it was so small, not enough for a snack or a meal.

Before I started following a WFPB diet, the hubs and I would go to Calabria for the veal sandwich, it was good. In my opinion, what made the sandwich so tasty was the homemade tomato sauce; the sauce is so light, but, full of flavour. I, now, order the roasted veggie sandwich when we go there. The veggie sandwich is full of roasted peppers and onions and the bun that they go in is so fluffy and delicious.Their cookies are incredible, especially, the Amaretti cookies, those are my favorite! They are very well known for their bread, which is incredible! It is always crusty on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Everything is great here. We'll be back!

Nothing fancy here but good classic food. I stopped here for a Hot table lunch. Grabbed myself a chicken sandwich with all the fixins and a slice of pizza just to try out how good there slices. I would definitely stop here again for a quick bite. Nothing fancy but great food.
