Best Tabbouleh you will find anywhere!! It's made fresh to order and while you have to wait about 15 min for your order, trust me. It's worth the wait. The Moussaka is terrific as is the lamb and red lentil soup. Really...everything is delicious. The place is a hole in the wall but these are the places you will often find the best food.
I've found my new favorite restaurant! Food is extraordinarily delicious and you can taste the freshness. Prices are great for the quantity + quality of food you're getting. Customer service is awesome, very friendly and kind staff. We had the Kebda, Grilled Shrimp, and a mixed platter of their grilled meats! I will return again and again to try more from their vast menu!
Beef kabob, kabob Dawny (lamb), Sheesh Tawook, and Musakaa! Absolutely amazingggg food! Along with the awesome customer service, you'll be returning every day for more!
I've visited Egypt a few times and Aragoz brought me back so many memories of those days. Food was very tasty, felt as if I was in Egypt again. And portions are absolutely perfect for the price. Lots of healthy options so I can't wait to check out the rest of their delicious menu!
I must say, I haven't had food from a restaurant taste as fresh as Aragoz. Fresh fresh fresh! My family and I stumbled across this gem and decided to try it out. Chef Adam was super kind and patient while explaining the menu to us and making recommendations. We enjoyed every bite and are excited to return to try more items from their gigantic menu!
We ordered from Aragoz for the first time and were delightfully impressed with the food.We had the Kabab & Kofta - Dinner for 2 and an order of falafel. The meat was well-seasoned and the salad was fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.Adam provided great customer-service. He's personable and takes great pride in the quality of his food.We can't wait to try his other dishes in the near future.A true gem of a place in Scarborough!!
Just had half of my meal of a falafel sandwich, salad, fries, pickles and a pop. A huge portion of delicious food. Can't wait to try other items!
My friend told me about Aragoz, and I am so glad my family and I tried it. The Chef and his staff make very delicious food and they are friendly. There are many flavours and textures in all of the food and everything is prepared fresh. The serving sizes are great and the price is very reasonable. I ordered a few of the "dinners for 2": half chicken, kofta, shrimp & calamari, and lamb shanks. All of the meals were superb. The salads were fresh. The lamb shanks in particular were a hit, as the meat just fell off the bone. The chicken meal was juicy and moist. I also ordered the basboosa cake - YUM - it is so good - tastes like a cross between a very moist coconut sponge cake (texture and look) and baklava (taste). If you're West Indian, it's like a sweet, moist pone (ask your mom or granny if you don't know). I wish it was sold by the piece or in a smaller portion, because it was a lot of cake (could feed 20 people)!
We ordered from Aragoz Egyptian Restaurant on New Year's Day and it was a treat. The chef uses fresh ingredients to prepare tasty and authentic dishes. Everything was cooked just right to bring out maximum flavour. All safety protocols were followed. We hope to continue to support this local business and try other dishes from the extensive menu.
Food is made fresh to order and customer service is friendly and helpful. Beef liver sandwich is tasty on the handmade bread. Also tried the steak sandwich and beef kofta which were delicious as well. They accept credit and debit.
