Had fried snapper, rice and plantain. It was very tasty. I haven't Haitian food before and look forward to trying other food on the menu.
Finally made my way to Alabon. Food was delicious and plentiful. I've been eating homecooked Haitian food for many years and this is definitely comparable in quality. The price is pretty steep $23 for a meal but since there's no other options for Haitian food in the city, its worth it. Other than that, I would encourage everyone to support this family business and go get some yummy Haitian food!
I feel like people who are not used to real good Haitian food will find this place okay, but I'm from Montreal and also lived in Ottawa so it can't compare. Since this city doesn't have much to offer in terms of Haitian food, I guess it's alright.
Such a blessing to have delicious Haitian food after 8 long years!!! Amazing customer service, delicious food!!! Merci!!
The best Haitian food in Ontario. I moved to Ontario from Montreal,Quebec, I always have my Haitian food cravings and this restaurant hits the spot. Good portions, great food. ?
So delicious, fresh, and authentic. The mushroom rice is perfect and tomato gravy is on point!! Crispy chicken. I could eat this everyday. I drive almost an hour to get here and I Can’t wait to go back!
First things first the food was amazing. Being from the Caribbean I'm use to flavorful foods, so finding this spot was golden. Definitely my new go to spot.
Food is okay, I had better Haitian food elsewhere. As much as I like to support local black owned business, this place ripped us off since we are not Haitian/African. We ordered the goat (very dry) and griyo with macaroni pie that tasted like boiled pasta with cheeses. They were supposed to come with coleslaw and plantain, only got the plantain but no coleslaw on either. Total came up to $46 and still gave them tip. How? The prices online does not match with the total we paid for.
Very bad customer service. The man was very rude we didn't even get a chance to sample the food because of the way he approached myself and family Very disappointed.
Hidden gem of a restaurant in Scarborough. I got take-out for my workplace so we ordered one of each meal; chicken, fried pork, and goat. Goat was by far my favorite, it was super tender and juicy, a must try!We also got a side order of their delicious macaroni salad and a bunch of Couronne fruit champagne which was also delightful! It's like cream soda... But better.Besides the great food, the restaurant is also owned and managed by lovely people. Thanks for bringing a taste of authentic Haitian food to our neighborhood, will definitely be back!!
