I always like an A&W breakfast, but....today was disappointing. I ordered the Big Canadian breakfast and 3 wrap combos. I'm pretty certain that the advertising sign said there was TWO wraps in the combo. I got home with my 4 orders to only find that each combo had one tiny wrap in it. The wrap was about 3.5 inches long. It was not what I would call a satisfying breakfast. I was fully expecting 2 wraps.
Love coming to this location for it's convenience off the 401. The place is clean and renovated the service is prompt however we didn't like how there was too much socializing between the staff. They had their colleagues sitting in the dining, chatting and gossiping meanwhile the hand wash sinks needed some attention. This is work not a social club more scrubbing less socializing.
Simple order, just 20 minutes ago. Repeated myself three times. 2 beyond meat burgers just the burgers, no tomatoes or pickles, yes to cheese, said this 3 times... I got tomatoes and no cheese and first time the veg patty was so thin and tasted horrible.
HORRIBLE LOCATION. Dined in for Sunday lunch. Waited 15 minutes before anyone even looked at me to place an order. Were sold out of onion rings at 1pm. Waited another 20 mins for my food. Kids meal was cold. Gave us rotten apple slices. Seriously the worst experience.
Love the fact that the beef is grass fed with option of lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Great for my low carb diet. And the coffee is better than other big name coffee restaurants - in my opinion. It’s hands down my favourite fast food place to dine.
Good experience, fast service , friendly staff. Only note is I was charged for combo of all Canadian special but they said they didn’t have hash browns so I didn’t get any hash brown or modification.So Could have been improved if they at least offered me a substitute like fries etc.. and leave it up to customer to say yes or no.
Great service. I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery. They catered to my gluten-free diet. Love A&W
Unfortunately it’s hit and miss here all depends on who’s cooking I guess. Sometimes it seems things are rushed and it shows in the food when you get it.
I love A&W, I detest this location. I always go to Sheppard and Birchmount where the service is amazing, food is always done with such care by a familiar staff.For the winter i started going to this location for the drive thru, for the last 5 visits the staff filled the fries up to 50% and 1/5 times when I asked about it I was told that this is what the manager has told them to do. Another time they realized how negligent it was and resolved it right away.Today I asked if they could make sure I was not jipped again, and it was the same deal.I'm going back to the quality Sheppard and Birchmount location where you are not robbed and made to wait for eons for mobile pick ups.Step it up guys, ripping your customers off for whatever reason is really not right and not consistent with franchise or customer expectations.
Nothing better than a root beer and burger. Minimal container waste adds to our enjoyment.
