Tasty , soft, Freshly broasted thigh and leg pieces, crispy dressing, Good offer combinations with moderate prices.
What exactly did I just (NOT) eat!? Old rotten chicken, fried in stale old oil, served with an equally rotten attitude by the old man who perhaps is the shop owner and you call it Al-baik style & number 1 in GTA!?EXCUSE YOU!The whole shop is a mess, no food safety and hygiene standards being followed, random people known to the owner walking in and going straight into the kitchen!Absolute food safety nightmare!Definitely not coming back and recommending no one comes here to be fooled.PS. When you require your customers to wear masks, then you should be wearing it too.
I have to say that I was pretty nervous checking this place out..I tried their Albaiq style chicken with their dip sauce and It was on point! There is only one gentleman working their so call and place your order before you go. Also, I agree ambience is not great but hey it's a no frills take out joint.. support your local folks and try this place out...
Taste is good comparing to other fried chicken restaurants just left 1 star because they need to improve their presentation and ambience hope this review is helpful to owner.
Chicken tastes great, even better than KFC, Popeye’s or Jollibee in my opinion. And other review said it still tastes great the next day which is true. There is usually no staff just the owner so you do have to wait even when you order ahead. Will try the fish and chips next time.
Ordered from here because they advertised themselves as albaik style. However they are no where close to it. There was no option to add garlic sauce on the food app and was not provided one when pointed out as well. Otherwise the food is OK but do not expect Al-Baik style LOL
Honestly the most underrated Chicken spot in the area, affordable fast and delicious by far. The owner of the restaurant is friendly and welcoming the price of the food along with the spice is truly amazing, for sure worth the visit will be coming back 200%
Breads are too thick which makes the whole meal feel dryEdit: Thanks for the second taste test, the cheesteak was better with the proper bread
I would leave no stars if possible. It should be clear to you to not walk into this place once you enter. It is absolutely disgusting inside and I cannot believe this is a place for cooking raw food. To make matters worse, the owner was extremly rude when we wanted to pay our bill. Their payment machine was down and it took over 20 minutes for us just to pay a small bill. We even had to walk outside and go to a seperate store that was properly run to pay there instead. This establishment is an absolute joke and I'm not sure why Toronto public health hasn't visited and fined them for their lack of care towards hygiene and clean food.
Its an average place. Restaurant needs a proper makeover in terms of look and feel. It seems to be a one man show mostly, so expect delays in your order. Their fried chicken is better than KFC and less oily.
