Tang's China House is NOT authentic Chinese food, it is the typical American/Canadian-Chinese food. It doesn't even have Chinese on the menu. However, the people who are there do speak Cantonese.The service is quite slow, as we waited almost 30 minutes for the food to be done.The restaurant itself seems to a time capsule of the late 70s/early 80s, as evidenced by the decor and the music played (Teresa Teng, for example). It also has an interesting history and various awards posted on a wall.
Ordered a family combo for takeout. We made some substitutions for a couple of items with no problems at all. The portions were great and the food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend. Best Chinese food I have had in the area

Ordered take-out; dinner for 2-A off their menu. The beef with veg and almonds was good, but everything else was pretty lame. Spring rolls were unpleasant. The chicken fried rice was barely fried and flavorless. The General Tao Chicken was basically pieces of breaded chicken in a sauce that barely resembled what it should have been. Food was cold when I got it, despite arriving at exactly the time I was told it would be ready for pick up.
we don't eat Chinese food often but when in town we always stop here food is hot and delicious . :))
