very good chicken in the rough. service is solid. prices are reasonable

My wife and I ate in on a Friday night. Food and service were both good. Atmosphere less than ideal. 20+ men standing/drinking around the bar. Very noisy and raucous. I might do take out but will never eat in the restaurant again.
We enjoyed are dinner. Staff very friendly and attentive. Even though there was only one server we didn't wait for anything. She kept apologizing but it wasn't necessary. Will definitely return.
I have frequented Chicken in the Rough for years with my family and it has always been amazing until tonight.?I ordered take out and the girl was awesome on the phone taking my order but I did hear the cook in the background tell her that they are gonna run out of chicken.I picked up my order and went home to eat to see that they replace the white meat rib piece (which happens to be my favourite piece as I am not a fan of dark meat) with a chicken leg!The chicken was way over cooked and dry. Tasted like it was from this afternoon but reheated.Needless to say, I was very underwhelmed and will not likely order take out from there again.It saddens me to write this as I have always been a big fan…..

Nice small restaurant type pub. Very quaint and staff are nice.
