From the outside it looked like a little cozy neighbourhood gem. The interior decor was clean and indirect lighting with a minimal design. Most tables were bar tables and could be uncomfortable. Service was prompt but not exceptionally friendly. The quality of food was average and standard with no surprises. All portions were very small and some dishes were designed for 2 people. But the major drawback was the ridiculous price. Check out my photos and the food bill, they are not heard of, at least not in GTA. Taking the dollar-to-quality into consideration, stay away from this place ! And no liquor license ! You have been warned.

First time trying this place and love their rice cake. I have to order again the next day. Very authentic and impressed with the taste. The only thing that we didn’t like is their xiao long bao and the crispy pan fried bun overly sweet. If they can reduce the sugar then I will give 4 star (1 star less because their price are too high) you are expecting to spend over $100 for lunch with 2-3 people but I will come back again to try on their other dishes.

authentic Shanghainese food.

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, with good food and nice decor. We ordered four dishes, all tasting good although a bit pricy. Highly recommend braised pork belly (梅干菜红烧肉) and boiled bean curd threads (大煮干丝) while crab noodles and tea shrimp are okay.

Carefully prepared and executed menu. Everything was perfectly seasoned, freshly made and delicious. Beautifully maintained restaurant and patio area. Will definitely go back again!

Their Suzhou style cuisine was spectacular and reminded me of the same quality I had back when I visited that area in China.Side note: Their washroom area could be improved. I was trapped inside their only stall and a person, who I assumed to be the owner, had to unscrew the door and tear out the door handle out. All that effort wasn't enough to get me out of the room, but the person gave me the consent to kick down the door.Needless to say, I will be a returning customer.

Their braised pork balls is good balance between slightly fried and steam meatballs. Their soup noodle is also tasty especially the soup is very flavorful. The drunken chicken reminds me of the Taiwan instant cup noodle that comes with chickened soaked in wine.

Delicious Shanghaiese food. This is not your typical dumpling house, as it offers a carefully curated menu of traditional tastes of local cuisine in the Shanghai region. Each dish is very tasty and almost feels like a tapas. Tableware feels very high quality and the food came out I'm a reasonable time. The interior feels warm and cozy with the warmer woods and brighter furniture. Overall, a great dining experience that had me surprised

Have given this place multiple chances at making it right but each time hugely disappointed. We were told the dishes we ordered weren’t available - not as we order, not after we ordered, but after a long wait when we would expect the food to come out already. This time the alternate dish we ordered didn’t even get entered into the system and we were just waiting for it until all the kitchen staff had came outside to take a break. That’s when I knew we had been waiting for nothing. The worst service I had ever gotten at any restaurant.

Pricy, like really pricy for the type of service and wait time u get. Food was fine, above average, but definitely not worth the wait, if service was faster i’d be fine with the price cause the environment was cozy and stylish. but 2 and half hour for a four dish Chinese dinner is just unbelievable. this is not a French cuisine, step up on service. HIRE more staff!
