I've been to the Mississauga shop and had an amazing drink. Went to this shop expecting the a similar experience but was kind of disappoint in the service. Also was disappoint in the fact that this shop doesn't provide any large hot drinks. (Was available in other shops)Overall, still like the drinks but maybe better off going a little further to another shop than this one.
Really enjoyed there strawberry milk tea with strawberry tapioca. Unfortunately the second time I came there to get my fix, I was surprised how very little ingredients went into the regular size drink. Only one frozen strawberry blended up with ice and strawberry syrup with more ice and milk. Don't think I'll come back there again ?
One of my favourite bubble tea places! Their brown sugar pearls are great, and the quality of the milk tea is one of the best I've had! I go here almost every week!
Really good brown sugar tapioca which they are known for. great flavour and texture. Their matcha isn't the best quality imo. A bit too bitter and grainy.
The drinks are definitely on the more expensive side when you compare prices to other places like Chatime or Coco buuuuut, the drinks are different so comparing them doesn't REALLY make sense! I couldn't hold myself back when I saw new soft serve available! Since I ordered a brown sugar milk tea drink, I figured I'd try the strawberry soft serve. Aside from the high levels of sweetness in the popping bobas that I couldn't finish, the soft serve itself was so creamy and delicious. If I had to order the same one again, I would skip the bobas because the strawberry pieces and syrup already suffice! Although, I know the picture wouldn't be as pretty without the layered look.The brown sugar milk tea (not pictured) came with brown sugar tapioca pearls that tasted a bit like burnt sugar. I wonder if it was because there wasn't a lot of customers during the time I visited, or if the batch of tapioca pearls were a bit overcooked (?). It did affect my drinking experience, however I can give them the benefit of the doubt on that one and will still not hesitate to revisit Xing Fu Tang as this wasn't my first time here either.
Wow I was surprised when I first tried the signature milk tea. I expected it to be super sweet like other bubble teas but it was not super sweet at all. The carmelized brown sugar and boba were really good!
This place is a bit on the expensive side, but the flavours are all there to justify it. There are plenty of bubble tea places with fewer creative drinks and worse mixing for their brown sugar tapioca and milk items, and they only cost $0.50 less. So relatively speaking, this place is better and better than the current rating suggests, but as others have mentioned, they have room to improve on several fronts.
