Introducing some new flavors and summer drinks from Tru Tea! They'll be doing a summer BOGO on these beverages from now till June 19th, so this is the best time to try it out!SUPER KIWI SHAKE: This is made with real kiwi fruit that you can truly taste and feel (like no kidding, not throat tickles, which is uncomfortable but affirmative proof!) Though I got this at their regular sweetness level, it was actually perfect - tasting like golden kiwi almost. I love the addition of the lemon slices which added a touch of brightness and made the drink super aesthetic (4.3 out of 5.0 stars, I love the taste, I just can't drink it because of my throat tingle).OSMANTHUS COCONUT: If you're looking for a more unique and topical beverage, this is the one! It's very smooth to drink thanks to the coconut milk but then you get a contrast in texture from the osmanthus jelly which had a good chew to it. I'm not usually a huge coconut fan, but maybe it's growing on me 'cause I quite liked this. Again, this was ordered at their regular sugar levels and though trending on the sweeter side, it actually worked perfectly (4.9 out of 5.0 stars)PREMIUM GRAPEFRUIT SHAKE: Another refreshing option for you! It is very strong in grapefruit notes without being bitter. The regular sweetness level was actually perfect. Again, great use of fruit slices to make an aesthetic drink! (5.0 out of 5.0 stars)
A place recommended by a friend. I ordered the peach oolong tea with mozza foam. My friend ordered one of their ice shake & slush with mozza foam, and I liked her drink better!
I ordered the mango volcano and really enjoyed it. Placed the order through ritual and it was ready when I got there for pick up. Friendly staff and the place is really nice inside.
Ordered fresh taro tru tea with tru pioca today. The taste is amazing! The taro taste is not from artificial flavour, but real taro. The purple sticky rice enhances both taste and texture. The tru pioca is also no regular tapioca - very chewy. Overall level of sweetness is perfect. Didn’t have to request to lower sweetness. Definitely recommends to try!!!
My newest obsession is this oreo galaxy milk tea from tru tea and it is so delicious. I take mine with 50% less sugar than it originally comes with, minimal ice and tapioca which just completes the drink in my opinion.
The grapefruit shake is refreshing. It’s no longer on the menu. Ask the staff they will make one for you
Friend and I finally went down to try Tru Tea, and the customer service felt like one of the worst experiences we've had. Staff was hesitant answering any questions we had about the drinks or gave unhelpful answers (e.g we asked what is the difference between a drink and a the deluxe version to be told "one has milkfoam" followed by giggling from another worker). They also forgot to give us our scratch tickets that came with the order.
Been drinking TRU for many years and their products never disappoint. Favorites are their deluxe snow cap and soy pudding milk tea ❤️
I wanted to try their double roasted milk tea as I'm not sure I've seen that anywhere else. Unfortunately the girl gave me their regular milk tea in error! So we called and she offered a free drink for next time. The double roasted is really interesting. At first it tastes like the Chatime normal roasted but then comes a second surge of tea flavour! Can't wait to get this again.
