Increased price to $15.50 for 1 bowl of ramen even when ordered directly over the phone. I understand that prices are inflated when ordered through food delivery apps but why inflate the prices for direct orders? Now its NOT pocket friendly anymore for the same portion size (see image). My last order because this price is completely senseless plus I hated the miso ramen as it had absolutely no flavor. Moreover, the utensils they provided with the food seemed cheaper than dollarama and easily bent and were useless.(see image)
Meal for 2 - Black Smoky Garlic Ramen • Takoyaki • 2 Pop + KaraageOne of my favourite ramen restaurants ❤️ Love their ramen. The broth was so rich and jam packed with flavour. the Karaage was sooooo good ??? it’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Ramen tasted good but can be a little cheaper. The chasu was a little bit hard but tastes really good anyways. The soup is very salty but tasty. I will go back. Service was slow.
Food was alright. Nothing to write home about. Disappointed in the spicy chicken karage. The deep fried chicken was tossed in a cold sauce that must have just came out of the fridge. Would be better if they warmed the sauce up a bit.
Best ramen ever! Just moved around the area, keep coming to the store once a week at least, winter must be more frequently. Very rich soup, definitely a perfect choice for cold weather. Heard from the chef, they keep boiling all soups for over 10 hours everyday! Amazing place!
It’s a nice ramen place. Friendly and fast service!
Way too expensive & mediocre quality for the price. Just go somewhere else and stop paying 15 dollars for one bowl of ramen ?
Bayview and Major Mackenzie location in Richmond Hill. There are other locations at Yonge & Eglinton and another on Queen West. This is the first time eating at this ramen chain.Cute atmosphere, friendly staff. I like the two large chalkboards on the walls with the artwork. Vaccine passports checked at the door. Contact tracing via QR code at the table. Menu is also on a QR code at the table. Small plexiglass screwed to one side of the table to help with separation from other tables while eating. They appeared to be understaffed with only two people on the floor serving foods taking orders, screening customers for dine in, and handing out take out orders and most tables were full. There appeared to be two people in the kitchen cooking. We ordered1. Fried tofu appetizer: not good. Tofu was hard and dense and the batter was also hard.2. Black Garlic Ramen: broth is creamy and has good flavour. Egg yolk was more cooked compared to other places3. Spicy Ramen: good broth. Was actually a good level of spicy-ness. The noodles were much too hard for my liking. I should have asked for it to be cooked to a softer texture. The ramen comes in a plastic bowl. A bit pricey for the portion compared to other ramen restaurants. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment so it’s unlikely we will return.
