The power going on and off set a great vibe for the meal, we were given shelter in their humble abode during the thunderstorm. Great experience food is great, would visit during a thunderstorm again. Couldn’t see the food though kinda cringe
There was a severe thunderstorm warning and they let us stay inside and finish our food even though all the power went out. The flashing lights really set a nice tone for our meal and the food was delicious. 11/10 would hide here during a thunderstorm again
If you want to be super full, you might not be satisfied by Super Pho. But if you want a quick bite, pho sure it's a good option. Its regular BOGO offers on delivery apps make it a tempting order when hunger calls.First time around, we had BBQ Pork & Spring Roll with Vermicelli. Equal parts crispy egg rolls, grilled pork, and shredded vegetables. Super it was not, but hit the spot it did after a workout. The following visit, Lemongrass Pork Chop & Pan Fried Egg on Rice had plenty of the latter (rice). The grilled pork chop was marinated as expected and the egg was slightly runny. Not bad to be honest.Recently, we finally went for the House Special Beef Noodle Soup. Varieties of raw beef slices, beef balls and tripe are all things that I normally enjoy. The bowl container was only half full perhaps due to inflation. The broth was salty, which with the savoury MSG made us quite thirsty. Is it an authentic pho option? Pho-get-about-it, this is more like fast food. That's enough pho jokes for one day! Go ahead, check it out for yourself if you're in the Major Mac/Bayview area to support local business. That's what high schoolers seem to do, often crossing the street to this lunch spot.
The pho was very good! Ordered the buy one get one house special and got a side of severe thunderstorms and the power going out. The flickering lights really added to the ambience. The staff were extremely accommodating during this event and reassured us that we could wait inside until the storm passed. The service was fast and our food came out in less than ten minutes after we ordered. Truly an unforgettable experience.
We have been visiting Super Pho prior to Covid and ordering take out during Covid. Great placeto get Vietnamese food. Lots of parking in this plaza. Staff was nice and welcoming. The portion was decent & Pho served hot & quick. Other rice dishes were tasty and the pricing was very reasonable! They are offering $16.99 buy one get one free house special beef noodle soup and it also comes with a lemon ice tea or milk tea. Will definitely be coming back!
Ordered BOGO House Special Pho with Uber yesterday. Asked for utensils. No utensils came. Asked for extra basil. Barely enough basil for ONE person came. Literally 3 small leaves for two bowls of pho. Soup tasted heavy with MSG. And a lime wedge cut in half?! Seriously?! For two bowls of pho?! Talk about cutting corners here.Only saving grace was sure, it came out to be about $11 for each bowl of pho because of the BOGO deal (which is cheaper than if you were to buy it in-restaurant at $13.99 each, but damn was it a extremely underwhelming experience. I'll never order from this place again since there are many other pho places around that are 100% better. Do yourself a favour and don't even bother with this place.
I ordered take out from Uber. Taking chance when seeing reviews only 3.9 stars. Surprisingly tasty. The soup noodles quality for take out food is considering really really good, not soggy at all. Beef slices are fresh, soft and tender. 5 stars for overall lunch experience, food quality + efficient uber delivery. :)
Ordered takeout from Super Pho not for the first time through an online delivery app. Ordered 4 noodles and 1 appetizer. Our entire family experienced extreme thirst after eating the food. Too much MSG added!!!! And very small portions. Will avoid in the future.
I ordered pho for takeout and was disappointed. There are definitely better pho options in Richmond Hill.My biggest complaint was with the broth, which was missing the depth / richness that makes good pho and was very heavy on the MSG. I had to drink lots of water after drinking the soup to conquer the thirst. Some of the greens (basil and lime) could have been fresher as well. That being said, portions were reasonable and the pho was packaged well for takeout (soup, basil and bean sprouts were separate from the noodles and beef).
Great spot to get Vietnamese food, the portion size is large, food is tasty and the pricing is very reasonable! Definitely coming back!To find more tasty eats, follow me and check out my page on Instagram @hungrysimo
