Went there for the first time with a friend who had been before. So good. The pictures don't do the sushi justice. The fish is so fresh, the fried oysters I ordered were amazing, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is reslly warm and bright. Feels like an awesome local restaurant, owners were very nice too. Not all you can eat, but worth it. If you want Japanese or maybe even Korean food, with a budget around $50, this place is good.

We have been eating here on and off for the past 2 decades in this sushi place. Same decor, not fancy. We like it small and cozy. Parking was always a little issue due to many restaurants in this plaza. Service was ok. Sashimi and their hand rolls were fresh and delicious. We didn’t order alcohol tonight but they do have many great selections. Will visit again.

Since the provincial shutdowns, I haven't dined in at their restaurant since as our schedules have been changing personally. We used to go there every month to eat the great sushi and pay the lovely owners a visit. Recently, we ordered takeout from them: we ordered the large premium sushi tray with a small sashimi tray. I'm happy to say that they have maintained their standards! The quality of the fish, rice, and the garnishes are beyond excellent. They do an excellent job in mixing the flavours and designing new and inventive rolls. They haven't had sea urchin (uni) in a while, however, their substitutions for it in the premium tray are usually scallops or ikura (salmon roe). For the past 5 years, their ikura has been amazing: sweet, smooth, and just what you want. I've had ikura at many places but they usually taste a little off (for me at least!).If you are going there for lunch, or just want something for yourself, get the salmon magic roll. Its a salmon roll, topped with more salmon, salmon roll, sauce (I think it's spicy mayo) and crispy tempura shavings. You won't be disappointed!Their prices are a little high, but you are paying for the quality. If you take out, I believe they are still doing a 5% discount if you pay in cash. They opened dine-in, and they have plastic shields around the tables. Very limited seating, however, it may fluctuate depending on the time so I suggest giving them a call.

Small place, big taste! Really enjoyed our Bento lunches ? The lady who served us was just the sweetest.

Haven't been to this place since the beginning of the pandemic. So want to give it a try today. Out of expectation, the Chirashi is very fresh. I find that their quality is better than the pre pandemic time. The price pretty much remain unchanged.

Sushi is definitely a challenging cuisine to get right. It may have been an off day. Maybe after circling back, a different experience could be had. Wish them all the best!

Do not go to Sapporo Sushi if you want to stuff yourself. It is about authenticity, quality and service here. Staff is already friendly and prompt. We always enjoy eating there.

We have ordered from here multiple times. The sushi. rolls, and sashimi are delicious as they are visually appealing. I deducted one star because I have noticed that whenever I pay in cash, they would not give me back the exact change (every time a $1-$3 dollars) as if they are taking the tips by rounding up, probably because most people don't tip when doing take out. Good food though and would come back.
