I was here several times many years ago. The dishes were delicious. But now, don’t go. There are so many good places in Markham.
We came for dinner and the experience was not good. Two of our four ordered dishes were okay, the other two were below average. The most upsetting thing was the stir fried yellow fin grouper with asparagus and king mushroom was $34 on the menu and when the bill came, it became $58. They just said sorry we didn't informed you when you ordered as their purchase price for the fish had increased and they didn't even offer any price adjustment or discount for the mistake on their side. Also this is one of the bad dishes as the fish was not fresh and tasted weird.
They have a Peking Duck special ($23.80 right now) which is amazing. The duck is small but very good quality. I am impressed with the quality of the wraps as well as they do not tear easily, unlike other places. They have an amazing spare rib dish that I have never had seen anywhere else. I would definitely come here again!
Edit: Now 2nd time customer. I decided to have lunch dim sum again and I had to order in person because the phone line was constantly busy.I got there I ordered it quickly and waited about 20 minutes for everything to be prepared. The dim sum was as good as last time and really it tasted as I expected dim sum should. I would say the value is fair to good mainly due to the covid inflation we've all been experiencing everywhere. This time I ordered a few more dishes which are shown pictures 4 and 5 (overhead shot with more dimsum) came to just over $100.00. I enjoyed it and I thought it was good I'm hoping to come back for dinner to try it out.----First time customer, I was ordering dim sum during the latest covid shutdown. I enjoyed the food and I thought it was fairly decent. The thing with dim sum is you expect it to taste a certain way and nothing in these dim sum had disappointed me. The value was fair and the food quality I thought was good. It took about 25 minutes from the time I placed the order to getting it into my car. I've also just recommended this to my family as well because I thought it was pretty good. Hopefully it will be as good the next time I order. The fifth star rating will come after a place shows consistency in it's food and by that I mean if the next few times is as good.
Tried their $19.99 Peking duck special. Duck was great but the wraps were cold. Told the manager and he touched them with the back of his hand, didn't say a word and walked out! The second dish of stirred fried pork with asparagus was also not hot. Dessert was good though.
Dim sum was delicious, great service. Private dinning. Good for groups or couples for date night.
Foods are terrible salty. And worst service, like you owe them money. I ask for some tissues, their waitress just said “No” with ugly face. Never come again!
Absolutely delicious and is now my favourite spot for Chinese cuisine! The staff is also very friendly and considerate, furthermore the kitchen works fast too. Anything on the menu is delicious and carefully prepared, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Ordered take out, this is my 7th time ordering and boy was it a big disappointment. The 6 times I previously ordered were perfect and so delicious. This time the tripe and fried taro puffs barely had any flavour, they were under salted and bland, -1 star. There was a giant piece of whole tripe that was 2.5 cm thick and I cut and couldn’t be chewed through, -1 star. The bbq pork pastry which I love and precious would order 2 portions of was changed and AWFUL! BE WARNED, they have changed how they make it either that day or forever going forward. Never have I had bbq pork pastry with so much pineapple and so little pork. It was watery and weird and completely different. Because no one expected pineapple in this, since no normal bbq pork pastry has ever included pineapple, it’s really hard for someone with pineapple allergy to know when biting into it -1 star. Please go back to the chef and the recipe you previously had, if this place has changed owner or chef then I will never be back, because it’s such a huge difference from before.
Tasty dinner items. VIP room is a bit too small though. It was hard for Guests seated to the inner side of the room to get out. Better than having dim sum in my own opinion.
