Warning, if you plan to order a large amount, the quality of food drops significantly. I placed an order of 7 items and it took about 40 minutes to make. In addition, they were made one at a time so by the time everything was ready, the first 5 waffles made were cold. The only highlight I would say is the friend chicken waffle. The chicken was flavourful and more aligned with Asian/Taiwanese style fried chicken.
Good for having waffles but nothing special about it. Their space for dine in is pretty small. I don’t recommend their savoury waffles. I had cheese waffle and it was bland and small. Also there are some models of recommended mini waffles you can choose from. We chose based on them but what we got was smaller. Even one scoop of ice cream here is smaller than other places.
This was delicious and the employee was very nice and patient as we worked through the menu. Would go back again! We were in and out even though there were a few customers before us! We made our own waffle ice creams and the original and taro were delicious. I've cream also tasted fresh, not old and freezer burnt. Everybody needs to try!
Had the chance to try this waffle place yesterday and got the Hershey's waffle and the green milk tea. The waffle and drinks menu are pretty extensive and even though I wanted to try the original, I ended up going for flavoured waffles.1) Hershey's WaffleThe size of the waffle is standard and the price is decent as I did get the one with chocolate filling. I think the ratio of each waffle to chocolate is good, I had enough chocolate in each bite that I can still taste how good the waffle was.2) Green Milk TeaThe tapioca and the milk tea flavour was quite enjoyable. I really like green milk tea that's a bit more floral (I believe it was Jasmine and the flavour was there). The boba itself was not bad even though I usually don't get it in my milk tea. I, however, didn't get to adjust the sugar and ice level so I did find the drink with regular sugar to be quite sweet (but that's just me).I will definitely come back and try the waffle with ice cream next (or just the original) and the HK milk tea (I was really tempted to get this the same day too but two drinks in one day might be a bit too much! ). I'm not sure if there is a closer location for me or if the RH location is the closest one.
Went to the Scarborough store. ordered a mac and cheese waffle and a strawberry ice cream waffle. Very simple and easy but it took about 20mins and we were the only customers. Tasted like kraft dinner with bacon bits not even real cheese. Waffles were bland and tasted plain. The amount of ice cream was smaller then u get on a kiddie cone at McDonald's. And they only put 2 halves of a strawberry on it. literally 1 strawberry. Bill was close to $30 and that was after the staff opened up a ViP account for us, with the discount. Was not impressed at all.
Super cozy and relaxing environment. The waffles and milk tea are super tasty, must go again to try other stuff.
This is the best place you can find in the area for bubble tea, it is delicious and the price is totally affordable. Very nice staff though they lack a little bit in communication skills (in which their manager compensates if required). They do not fill the cup with unnecessary ice and use a shaker to cool down the drink instead. The tea tastes fresh and authentic and the pearls and jellies taste great as well and seems to be mostly homemade. Make sure to try the Jasmin jelly, it is homemade and has little Jasmin flowers inside each piece which tasted great.
Both times i went there the service was not good. Not sure why they feel the need to ignore and be rude to their customers. both times I went , the waffle was cold and they charged me 2 different prices for ordering the exact same thing on 2 occasions. They also got my order wrong as they don't understand and are sort of not willing to listen to your order. I asked for my waffle well done and the server gave me a blank stare and said " what do you mean everything is well done"
i ordered the brown sugar ice cream waffle and i was blown away by both the taste and presentation! the employee put a lot of love into creating the dessert. i didn’t wait too long either, i was in and out within ten minutes - which is incredible given that everything is made to order. even the plain waffle i ordered on the side was delicious - it wasn’t too sweet but had a delectable flavour. the prices were reasonable too. ill definitely return :)
