Korean | Cash discount | Time Square | LLBO | Closed TuesdaysCovid protocols in placeSaw this new Korean restaurant open during covid and waited for restrictions to lift before trying dine in.Cleanliness: GoodService: So-soEntry greeting was lacking a bit; gave me the impression they didn't want us to dine in.Ordering experience was very bland (meh). The best part of service was when the server assisted in holding my bowl when I scraped the left overs to my take out box.Complimentary appetizers:All a disappointmentEverything seemed bland, not marinated enough (ie. Kimchi & radish)The potatoes were too undercooked for this cold appI normally eat all the appetizers but this time, I had left oversS2 Pork Bone Soup with Noodles:So it's basically Gamjatang topped with ramen and with a side of purple rice. The soup was ok.The ramen seemed like it's missing something (maybe blanched too much?)The pork texture was ok but feels like it didn't soak the flavours from the soup enoughAnd again the potatoes seemed too undercooked, almost like they last minute dropped it inR3 Eel Dolsotbap:The portion was generous for overall and also eelThe hot stone bowl kept the rice at a nice temperature and also created rice crisps at the bottomIt was good but for me I feel like I can make this at home by adding seaweed seasoning to my rice and adding eel on top.Canadian beer:Beer is beerOverall I would say I'm not satisfied. With all due respect, if I didn't see Korean servers I would think this is ran by a non-Korean chef due to the lack of flavours.
We tried out this new Korean restaurant for lunch, and had their Boodae hotpot and beef shortribs- both were very good! The hotpot had a good variety of meats and and veggies, and was a good portion for the price. Beef shortribs were flavourful, chewy - just not a lot, but I guess this is expected as everything is more expensive now.Side dishes were decent, not amazing, but I mean these are on the house so nothing to complain about.
Pretty good korean family restaurant, tastes are on the light side (less salty) which is good for me. Mini dishes are good too
The setting is stylish but the food is so so. Seafood tufu soup tastes very fishy and the tofu is overcooked. Spicy pork is salty but not spicy...The Korean source fried chicken has too many source oton it and u cannot taste the chicken. I will not go back.
I've been a few times for takeout and quality is good compared to most other Korean places in the Richmond Hill/Markham area. They give you side dishes with the meal. The highlights have been the beef rib soup and cold noodles. The only things that I didn't like is that the kitchen staff aren't wearing masks and I have found hairs in my food twice.
Food and services is so so. But the price and portion are great. Not a bad idea to fill up your stomach with a 20% grand opening discount applied.
We bought takeout and it wasn't actually dining in so we couldn't really comment on service or cleanliness. This rating is purely based on the food itself PLUS 1 star because I couldn't fairly rate the quality of the meal if we dined in, which is why I gave it an extra star instead of 2 stars (which is what the food itself is worth).Firstly, the menu seemed to be good in a sense that it had a good variety of dishes including fried chicken, cheese dakgalbi, cold noodles, bossam, Korean-Chinese dishes such as tangsuyuk, jajangmyeon and more. While liking the selection, it meant they don't specialize specifically in anything, which is okay for me as long as the stuff we order is good.We ordered bibim cold noodles, which didn't have nearly enough sauce so the noodles remained stuck together while we ate it, bulgogi hot pot (which btw comes raw and you cook it hot pot style) where the ingredients (especially tofu) was not fresh and the sauce's flavor extremely mild, and the kanpoongi which was nice and crispy but overly battered. The weirdest part is there was a container of soup which came in a plastic large tofu tub (see picture) -- whyyyy? They couldn't afford giving takeout soup containers? It looks so unprofessional and kind of gross. Others questioned the cleanliness so we had to boil up the soup that was in there just to be sure but we all agreed that the flavor of the soup was pretty good. The other thing is that the bulgogi was packaged very poorly and all the liquid had spilled into the bag by the time we received it, maybe that's why it tasted so mild.Overall the food was very under average and not up to standard even for takeout but I gave it the benefit of the doubt saying that it might be better had we dined in, perhaps making it go from under average to average. I guess I'll never know though since the others said they will never bother trying given the taste of this meal itself.
Not bad at all. The 반잔 (“side dishes”) portions were generous. The 감자탕 (pork bone soup) was a bit on the oily side, but came with lots of meat. We will come again to try other things on their menu.
I barely recommend any restaurant but I have to give a 5 star review for Eunhasu! The food taste so good and authentic. I was recommend it to my coworker but coworkers was about to recommend it to me lol. The staffs are nice especially the owner. They know how to handle different scenarios properly. As a customer who always ordering takeout, I notice not all the tables are full when I walked in. I am not sure it was because this is a new restaurant or it is a trend post pandemic. Anyway please do give Eunhasu a try if you are around the area. Good food, Good price, nice location and warm staff.
First time coming here and I had a great experience! Seating area is very clean and tidy, lots of selection from the menu, and there was wonderful service. Food portions were filling as well. Got a 20% off for the “grand opening”. Looking forward to coming here again!
