A relatively smaller place - reservations are an absolute must. They were very nice to accommodate the two of us last minute as we simply showed up.Drinks were excellent however food was not as much. Decent food though protein was under seasoned. Some items (beans and rice) were quite good but chicken not as much.Overall nice place with attentive staff.

Very friendly staffs, great experience. Especially Karen, smile all the time that makes customers adapted her joy of being there. The singing was all night and very enjoyable environment. Authentic Mexican food and drinks. Pina colada was served in a real pineapple, that was a surprise! Totally awesome experience! Thank you!

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant this is the spot great , friendly staff , live music and best place to share a great time with family and friends Absolutely recommended for birthdays celebration

Just walked in on a weekday for dinner. It was not busy when we got there but the place started to fill up. Foods came out quick and delicious. Good service, esp our waitress always have a smile on her face. We will visit again for sure!

Amazing vibes at this place! The drinks were delicious, best mojito I’ve ever had. The service was so friendly and the live entertainment felt like I was front row in a concert. The food was 5 star and the prices were so reasonable. The chicken enchiladas are a must try. I will definitely be returning and bringing all my friends. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Great atmosphere, super friendly owners and staff and good food. Nachos are exceptional!

If you’re interested in coming here for dinner, definitely put in a reservation. This place is small-ish, roughly 10 tables with a few set for larger groups. The staff here are friendly and service is quick. They have live music (warning for anyone who has any sensitivity to loud music, this isn’t the place for you) and it can get pretty loud.Menu is different than what is listed on their website - perhaps something the restaurant management can look into.Definitely a good place for drinks with friends, and the food is decent but I won’t say it’s amazing. The nachos were pretty lack lustre for a Mexican restaurant. However, the calamari was nice and tender.Ordered the fish tacos since many people on here gave it such rave reviews. They were portioned well but lacked some seasoning.Wouldn’t mind coming back here.

On opening day, my best friend and I walked into El Bocho and instantly fell in love. I told my family about the amazing service, the amazing environment and how well priced it was. Ever since then, my family has not only named El Bocho our favourite restaurant, but we’ve also made sure to bring others here to experience the amazing environment and food for themselves. We have brought our family friends to the restaurant, we have booked several parties. We have come out for small dinners as well as large parties. I can say without a doubt that out of all the taquerias I have ever been to, this is by far my favourite. Gabriella and her husband, Cameron have been amazing with their service, but they’ve also treated us like as if we had known each other our entire lives. The environment is warm, the staff is friendly, the food is incredible and there is no place that could compare in terms of service, pricing. I’ve gone many places in this city, but I’ve never experienced the same treatment at any restaurant. The staff at El Bocho treated us like family since day one and for that reason we will keep bringing people to eat here. When you get treated like family, you can never go wrong. This place is full of love, warmth, excitement and good food. Highly recommend.Any negative comment you’ve read does not actively reflect the experience, it’s just a sad attempt at a smear campaign because you couldn’t eat seasoned food. El Bocho is lovely for any occasion and their staff does not disappoint on any level. This is the place to go!

Great service and great atmosphere. I was there for a birthday party and the live music was awesome. He was so energetic and fun. We danced around and had drinks. The staff were very accommodating to us. The drinks and the food were also amazing. All in all great experience.

Staff are friendly, service is descent and ambiance is ok. As far as the food is concerned unfortunately I cannot say it represents good value or quality. The beef tacos were mostly comprised of lettuce sprinkled with ground beef (that tasted off), the mole enchilada was just bitter and the chicken inside was dry, the nachos tasted of just salt and was only served with sour cream (no guac or different kinds of salsa). The food was honestly bad and I expected a lot more from what I consider to be an authentic Mexican restaurant.
