A premium branch of Crown Princess with slightly upgraded versions of dim sum at a price premium. Similar European setting which seems to be their theme. Food is ok. The venue is a large ballroom and the kitchen does struggle to get food out to support such a large setting. Wait times for tables can be long and for food can be inconsistent.
The dim sum here is pretty good. It's a super large restaurant, so the wait time is pretty good even during peak hours.
Have had several corporate lunches/meetings here with colleagues. The food quality isn't bad, acceptable for dim sum quality, but the waiters need to work on their professionalism.
Really good food. Large portions with a variety of dishes. The duck egg dessert is absolutely delicious. Great service. Place looks nice and clean. Great for families and couples only. Would go again.
The best dim sum in the city, especially if you are looking for a comfortable place with a clean environment and good ambience. The quality, speed and price of the dim sum offerings are exceptional and cannot be beat. The dishes are always very consistent each time I visit and the service is very fast and efficient. Couldn't recommend another dim sum place as good as Crown Princess in Toronto.
I always come by getting some food here. I liked the speedy service and well prepared food. I recommend this place.
Crown Princess has by far some of the best dim sum in the city!!! I absolutely love their steamed dumplings. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, always fresh and tasty. Each dumpling has the perfect amount of filling and a thin wrapper. In my opinion that is really important for a good dumpling, and Crown Princess goes above and beyond with great portions of filling and thin wrapper. Absolutely delicious food, thank you Crown Princess!
Make sure to double check the itemized receipt, the # of items you ordered, and final price — especially if you are splitting the bill evenly between people! We had a total bill of ~$90 (for 3 people). Our server punched in ~$50 for each person into the credit card machine (discreet way of adding $60 to the bill) and tried to get us to pay that price. I pulled out my phone calculator to show her that $90/3 = $30... she tried to pass it off as an honest mistake.
BEST AUTHENTIC CHINESE FINE DINING & THE BEST PEKING DUCK in the GTA with wonderful service, delicious food and a refined setting.
Very very very yummy dim sum! We are deff home sick and this helped a lot! The food is authentic and delicious! We loved it!
