Me and my friends ordered food and it was amazing! The food tasted really good, it had a lot of flavor, and it filled us up. I plan to come here again.
I don’t usually leave a google reivew but I had to for this one. Ordered about 8 dishes for takeouts to treat guests at my place. Every dish was very satisfying and such a great value for the price. It was my first time ordering ginger chicken, beef with broccoli and eggplant with pork and they were truly the best. (My favorite pick is ginger chicken!!) Will definitely order again when we have friends coming over next week :)
The name has changed from "garlic onion" to "Congee House Restaurant". The menu is different from before. The amount is also less than before. The taste is a bit more than average. I would have given it 5 stars if the amount was larger, usually Asin restaurants give a bigger amount for that value. Prices are averaging $ 17 per plate. The washrooms are small but clean. Can have 2 people at a time. The washroom is accessible for special need people. Their service was good and the person was around us most of the time. It's a good place to take your friend for a quick meal. Enjoy your meal :)!
There's some pretty decent Chinese food at affordable prices here. The chefs definitely know what they're doing; my only real complaint is that the tables are quite dirty. The servers are nice, the interiors are modest, and that's about it; there's not much to highlight here. I'd visit if I'm in the area and wanted some HK-style food.
Delicious food! We ordered chili chicken with fried noodles. Taste was great and the price was reasonable. The service was exceptional as the owners were very patient and attended to us. We came here a couple of times before COVID restrictions and the restaurant was very tidy and clean.
Decent food. Surprisd to see different types of food served other than just Congee. Will try others next time. Not sure if they had updated the interior from the old restaurant.
Great Chinese restaurant. Delicious and clean Chinese food. Yummy congee and a good variety of dishes. Staff are friendly and served us great, even when we arrived closer to closing. Much needed restaurant in this part of Richmond hill. Lots of parking
It worth 3.5 stars actually. Foods are in average. Price a bit high if consider the portion, but still acceptable. It’s clean, quiet, proper service.
Old style food, I love the taste, and the price is cheap, if you have time need go to try it.
Did a takeout and they mixed up 2 orders, had to drive back to get the right food. Wasn’t busy it was confusion. The food was a 3.5 however service was a 2, so gave them a 3.
