I used to live in the “Hill” and always loved Abruzzo, but today I was coming back to town and I thought of the veal sandwiches I used to get here…. We’ll let me tell you I would have driven 6 hours instead of 3 !! I ordered my self the veal loaded and literally moaned all the way through it! First half anyway too big in one sitting…..save it for later and enjoy all over again! Thanks Abruzzo you done me good!!Care
We are regular customers. Picked up Greek salad( + pizza) . Once home, discovered Greek salad had no Feta cheese and no red onions. Called Abruzzo. They insisted on a picture of the salad emailed to mgr. Abruzzos responded with $2 off coupon for next meal. Think they need quality control standards before food leaves their restaurant.
Have been ordering for Abruzzo for 20 years always raved about the quality and customer service. I must say for the last year the pizza has gone downhill. The dough is horrible and the pizza that I have been getting has been put together with no effort. I believe there should be some quality control before sending out the pizza's. It really saddens me because I don't want to order for this place anymore. I have been giving my feedback for the last year but no one seems to care.
Great as a place to dine in before the pandemic. Now as a take out only, it's just as good. Be sure to call ahead to place your order. Whether it's pizzas, pastas, pazarottos, the menu will meet your palette. Enjoy!
I used to get their pizza often when I lived in Richmond Hill. After 3 or four years I went to try it one more time for good old day sake.I asked for 2 pizzas and a large special salad.I never cared for the cold cut except for ham and as always asked for all ham cold cut. When I got home, I noticed they skipped all cold cut and charged the full price ($17 for a salad!!) that has no protein neither decent amount of shredded cheese. The quality of pizza was mediocre at best.Although I made my decision not to shop there ever any more, I wanted to test their customer service and game them a call.Everyone would say for such a place whose order cost is twice as much compared to other places, they would consider a full refund on the item or give a credit for that matter.Guess what?!After holding me on the line for 5 min, she CONSULTED their generous manager to give me $5 for the next order which everyone could get by the coupons they give out.I was too shocked to argue and got embarrassed by my folks why waste my time for such offer. It is a shame! You lost your quality, your generosity (wonder if it was ever there) and a customer which maybe is not a big deal for you.
Nothing but classic Italian food in ThornhillI have been ordering here for over 30 years. They never disappoint on any meal.Pizza is pure blissPasta is huge and I love the sauceSalads are excellent and freshItalian sandwiches are amazing and messyPriced right for family food.Highly recommend
What a great place for years now. Quite possibly my favourite Fried Panzerottis in the City and don’t forget that delicious meat sauce to dip. Other food and pizza is good too. Highly recommend to try it out one day ??
Really liked this place as a kid, the paninis were my favorite food, super disappointed but the quality has gone WAY down.Got 3 pizzas for a party and it was genuinely embarrassing. Very stale dough, still floury on the bottom, maybe there was a screw up with the order but it wasn't pleasant. There's much better pizza out there...sad to say this about a place I loved so much
Abruzzo Pizza is an epic place to get pizza in Richmond Hill!Hands down the best pizzeria and of course delicious panzerotti! We have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s always a delight. They also offer sandwiches, pastas, salads.Bonus- they now carry Gertie’s Peanut Butter Pie! If you like peanut butter treat your self.
Pizza's are tasty, good quality-price ratio. I will definitely come back. However, the minestrone soup was a disappointment. The basis was not there, no tomato-y broth, no pasta or rice, and didn't taste aromatic. It should be called: veggies soup.
