I had a terrible experience with the owner that I think is important to share. We were trying to book Sabina's for a celebration of life for my brother who recently passed away. In addition to incredibly invasive questions about the details of my brother's passing that sounded like an outtake from a forensic TV show, he was very rude - kept speaking over us, and not listening to what we were asking to do. Up until that time, we were still prepared to go forward - it's just business, right? We weren't shopping around for new friends. We just wanted a place where our family and friends could gather to celebrate and remember my brother. Now, here is why I am writing this review. As we looked at the menu to decide what to serve, and were costing it out (we needed to know we could afford it, right?) he leaned over and said 'Why are you thinking about the money? Your brother was rich.' We were simply shocked at his rudeness and insensitivity. He was aware that our brother passed only a few days ago, unexpectedly. WHAT KIND OF PERSON TREATS GRIEVING FAMILY THAT WAY? He kept repeating that as we left the restaurant, telling him we would hold my brother's wake elsewhere. We will be paying more, and I am fine with that. What is most important for me is that we have a place that will treat us with respect and where we can connect with the people most important to my brother and say goodbye with food, fellowship and drink. Can you imagine if this man aaid that to my mother, or said some other equally tasteless and rude thing? We dodged a bullet by not booking at Sabina's I can tell you. Too bad no stars isn't an option. How you treat people IS important
The owner is a piece of shit!! A truly horrible human being. Don't go there. Don't support someone who is such an ill-mannered discourteous person who disrespects women. A truly monstrous person. I would give this place NEGATIVE stars but I had to select at least 1 star to post. He deserves NEGATIVE 5.
Ordered on Uber eats. Food took extra long to make but still came out cold and soggy. I asked for pineapple on the pizza and it seems the chef took offense to that and sprinkled 6 pieces on the pizza. The chicken club sandwich came with just chicken and bread. Fries looked reheated from the night before. The hostesses were particularly rude forget to hit the hold button so I could hear them insult me and plot not to tell me that there was no manager in at the time. In any case it hasn't been a good experience.
The liver and onions were great as was the chicken- great service - very friendly staff. Much care was taken to seat us away from other patrons - they followed covid restrictions to the letter. It was a delightful experience.
Food and atmosphere of the pub was decent. Service was slow, the restaurant was not that busy however. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Crunch with fries and was packed with flavour.
Great food. Most pubs are meh in my mind but I have never been disappointed in taste here.French Onion Soup is reallllly good and cheesy.Their chicken sandwiches are juicy and tasty.Amazing fries.Service can be a bit slow depending on how busy it is, but always delightful servers.Great spot for a quick beer or bite to eat
We had take out for a large group of seniors after our last hockey game of the season. Ordered pizza, wings, fries, shrimp and all were excellent. Food was ready on time and staff and Suren were masked and as always, very helpful and friendly. Thanks so much!
Stopped in and ordered the 1lb of wings special. The food was served hot and the fries are really good!! The wings were tasty and the server was really nice.
Waitress was awful.Not once did she come to our table to see if we were ok or needed anything. Not once. I'm very upset I left a tip. She remembered our order correctly but never came back to our table after food was served. I had to go to bar to get Bill.Awful. Will not ever return due to bad service.
Tried this place for the first time - it's run down, messy and service is slow. The food although fresh looking and decently presented, lacked flavour. Would not recommend.Visited on Nov 11, 2021 for lunchOrdered spinach and artichoke dip, pan fried salmon and Cajun chicken wrap
