This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation,The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our’s & others mouths. Absolutely the best meal’s we had while our stay in Toronto. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant which serves Freshly cooked food. Highly recommend!

Palak Lamb was so tender and delicious. We ordered vegetable medley. It featured the most wonderful mushrooms.

If you want to try Indian style BBQ, do check out MILANU'S TANDOORI GRILL in Pickering. They have a great variety in vegetarian menu too. We tried their vegetarian BBQ platter and Gobi 65. Everything was freshly made, their paneer, mushroom, soya nuggets were so juicy and just the right amount of spice and heat and were very well cooked.Their staff was friendly and the service was super quick. We went their with our 6 months old baby and the place is kids friendly. We loved it and highly recommend!

Absolutely loved their Chicken tandoori. I could say its the best Tandoori I’ve ever had. And the Tandoori roti, I’ve never seen tandoori roti this soft.Sorry about this photo. I was having food, then I decided to take a photo for review because it was so good.?

Stopped in for appetizers with a friend, we had masala fries, chaat papdi, pakora, gobi 65 & Milanus amazing garlic naan. I’ve been coming here since they first opened up, & they never disappoint. They’ve renovated recently so now you can dine in. A small place, but big on service & flavour!

Sometimes when you have a gem right next to you, it does not get the attention and love that it is due. Similar is the case with Milanu's Tandoori Grill - I cannot sing it's praises enough and it throroughly deserves all the accolades and rave reviews by it's patrons. We have visited Milanu's earlier when it had patio seating which we had enjoyed. Now, however, we had to sit inside. The restaurant itself is very clean with neatly arranged seating. We were greeted politely by Aaron and showed to our table. Aaron was also gracious and efficient throughout our stay by not only proferring recommendations but also bringing out the food quickly. We ordered the following:- Fried Fish --> delicately fried morsels of fresh fish. It was crispy and not oily at all. Served with a mint chutney and a small salad of lettuce, cucumber and onions- Chicken 65 --> boneless pieces of fried chicken coated with a tangy sauce redolent with the flavour of mustard seeds and dry red chillies. It reminded me of a similar dish that I have had in Chennai- Chicken Tikka Masala --> we chose this instead of going for the ubiquitous butter chicken. It was good in terms of it's creaminess and lack of in-your-face sweetness. My kids enjoyed it immenseley- Punjabi Goat Curry --> a thick onion-based gravy which went very well with the naan as well as with the pulao. This was the absolute STAR of the whole meal for us. It was hands down one of the best renditions of a goat curry that I have ever had. I'm going to always order this every time I visit- Garlic Naan --> large, thin and crisp naans. Be careful how many you order as we had ordered 4 naans and could only finish 2 and a half (for a family of two adults and two children)- Punjabi Veg Pulao --> we wanted to order plain basmati rice to eat alongwith the curries but chose this instead. It was a good companion to the goat curry- Masala Chai --> spice Indian milk tea. Although I don't find highly spiced teas very appealing, this tea was so addictive and helped to wash down all the great foodAll in all, we couldn't have asked for a more delightful meal experience on a quiet Sunday afternoon. This restaurant deserves to be high on the list of Pickering's best places to dine at.Two Years Ago ---------------------------Incredibly flavourful food, squeaky clean restaurant/kitchen area, impeccable hospitality & service from the hosts. The must order menu items include:- Chicken Sheekh Kabab- Sholay Chicken Tikka- Tandoori Mushrooms- Chicken 65- Chicken Pulao- Tandoori Butter Chicken curryI am so glad that this wonderful restaurant has now opened increasing the choices for great Indian food in Pickering

Delicious food. Will order again for sure.

Everything was made fresh, the fish is amazing, nice and friendly services. A bit more upscale comparing with other Indian restaurants but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

I heard and read so many amazing reviews but we were extremely disappointed with the food! The taste was just not palatable and some of the dishes (karahi paneer) was just drowning in oil. Very disappointing and will not be going back again.
