delicious food- Margaritas are delicious
Good service and food as usual but the music was a little overwhelming- Would have rather they just play normal radio or nothing
We had to wait a long time for our food, over 30 minutes for some small add on items. Ended up having to walk around the restaurant to locate a server to find out what was happening. Then they delivered the same food twice. Very disorganized.
Food was acceptable but what is not acceptable is that no one told us everything on the menu was "All you can eat" for $40 per person. My daughter's friend ate as it there was no tomorrow, my daughter ate a couple of dishes, but my wife and I are not big eaters. She had a vegetable soup and I had a fried rice with veggies. In essence, with taxes and tip, I paid about $100 for a soup and a fried rice. Apparently there was a small sign at the entrance, and my daughter thought that the $40 rate was for sushi dishes only. The waitress neither bothered to indicate that it was a fixed rate nor that perhaps a la carte was a better choice for other customers. When the bill came, I was surprised but I elected not to make a fuss; I paid and I left the restaurant to never come back again. I have no interest in restaurants or service providers where their customers are not provided with plenty of information to make educated decisions.
Been to this location twice and I think im done. Really stingy with the items, fill up on rice type deal. But so far its the only place that serves salmon sashimi for lunch, which is super cool. But its thick squares...Pictures are the " rainbow roll " and tuna maki roll. You can tell this place has adapted to the palate of pickering. This is the best sushi you will get in pickering though. Also its another place were you have to be super aware of your order. Waiters try to play tricks on you, don't want to get into. its a solid 2/5
My sister and I celebrated our 34th birthday yesterday our server Bonnie was excellent very friendly and made us feel welcomed...And even brought us a birthday dessert towards the end which was really thoughtful as we weren't expecting it great customer service great food...No complaints
Didnt enjoy smelling cleaning products while I’m still eating, very greasy food uses heavy oils. Chicken dry didn’t taste fresh. Used to look more upscale, May return one day, may not.
Makimono has been one of my most favourite places to eat since it opened.
My four friends and I went for dinner and we had so much fun. We ordered almost every type of sushi and none of them were bellow 7/10. The service was amazing and the waitress was very polite. Definitely recommend going here with friends and/or family.
