Excellent all day breakfast place in Pickering. Clean, friendly staff, great service, generous portions and coffee refills. Certainly recommend this place for a good hearty breakfast.
Excellent wait staff (Sharon). Ordered breakfast food - Katheryn's breakfast, pancakes and toast. Food was good and arrived quickly. Coffee was average but plenty of it. Would recommend it.

This is my favourite breakfast spot in Durham. I live in Toronto and I drive out there regularly to grab breakfast. I love the scrambled eggs, bacon and homefries. The coffee is my fave. Lol. If you love to do regular weekend breakfast with your fam, this is cute little spot.*note* Sat/Sun mornings are always busy so be prepared to wait for a bit. But it’s worth the wait.

Time stands still in this lovely mom and pop diner. Always love coming here for a breakfast before or after hiking the rouge valley.
Went for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the 3 eggs breakfast (3 eggs scrambled, white toast, and home fries; $6.50), and Kathryn's combo (2 eggs over easy, bacon, sausage, home fries, and 2 pancakes; $11.50)Service - 5 stars! The two servers there were very friendly and attentive. They were busy, but we were seated within 5 minutes and our coffees were always topped up.Food - 3.5 stars. Nothing to rave about; the home fries were very well done - extremely crispy (more than my liking) and not seasoned, the eggs were good, and the pancakes again, average.Value - 4.5 stars! While I'd say the portions were a little smaller than what we get at other places, the prices were definitely lower. That's not to say that we weren't full. It's just that at other places we have to take a doggy bag whereas here we wiped our plates clean and were not left hungry.All in all, we enjoyed it and will be coming back for more.
Sharon and Jim where our alternating servers, the very best in customer service, Friendly Smiles, prompt and efficient immediate service. happy-go-lucky personalities with a great sense of humour and intelligent conversation. Not to mention the value was better than anywhere else we could ever have even hoped or even imagined, thank you once again Kathryn's and those two people especially!!
