My new favourite Ice cream place in Pickering. High quality kawartha dairy ice cream, an abundance of flavors, reasonable price for the portion you get. Coming back for sure! It's $4.50 for 2 scoops or $3.50 for kiddie cone.
I got the butter pecan ice cream but was curious about grape it was I’ve never heard of it. The lady who helped us was so kind and gave me a small scoop of grapenut for free! The portions are huge and prices are great.She stopped by our table to ask if we liked everything. Very kind!
Great small ice cream and coffee bar, lots of flavors to choose from. Kawartha Dairy and Smith Central ice cream served. The freezers are cold and the ice cream was hard(as it should be). Nice vibe, with a little bit of indoor and outdoor seating. Smith's has some of the more exotic flavors, everyone agreed they were good.
great place to go when you’re craving soft serve or regular ice cream! there are plenty of flavours to choose from and the service has been top tier every time i’ve visited.

It was short-staffed on the day that we came, but the guy was super polite and quick to get what we each wanted. Cash only at the time, but the ice cream flavours were all delicious! No complaints and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Great ice cream and selection. I ordered a milkshake and the lady who made my milkshake was rude. She told me to shhh when I was giving my order . She was very nice to a white boy but was incredibly rude to me. All the other representatives have been incredibly nice to me but that one was not nice.
My family makes regular trips to IceTales in the summer. Friendly staff, clean store, and many delicious flavours of a variety of brand's ice cream. Next summer will be no different. We will be returning regularly.
