The taste of the food is good but seems like their portion sizes have drastically decreased. Ordered a butter chicken for 8.99 plus tax ($10) and received a tiny take out container with 6 cubes of chicken - mind you, naan is an additional charge ($1.75) ??? Definitely not a competitive price given the options in the neighbourhood which have larger portions and include naan as standard. All curry containers have shrunk and are now smaller than surrounding area restaurants. Be mindful before ordering.
I like the new look. Good food. BBQ chicken was little dry and not seasoned well to my liking, could be one time thing. Overall it’s a good restaurant. I wish them luck.Just a humble note to restaurant, during my last visit someone was speaking really loud in kitchen and was kind of awkward while dining in. May be playing some music in dining hall will fix this.
Long time relationship with the food time family, very great people, food and service. Shahzaib in particular is very welcoming at pickering location. And Hares in particular for Whitby. The food is always fresh, ? hala and top class. Would recommend ? %

Since Food Time reopened in Pickering.I have been ordering different dishes from their menu. No disappointments.Love their chicken kebab roll, karahi chickenBoneless( extra charge for boneless) but it's worth it, palak with chicken, quorma , Naan,Chicken biriyani, Nihari. And many more yummy dishes. Love it all.Best Pakistani restaurant...Hafeez contact...the nicest guy..Also the lady at the front cash is extremely polite. She doesn't get confused while taking your order.Listens and repeats it over.Her name is syba...I hope this is the correct spelling.By the way...the biriyani is not oily..it's perfect.
Great times at food times!!! We ordered a biryani tray, chicken quarter, chicken Karachi and beef kabab. We loved the food. The biryani was just perfect and delicious. The quarter chicken was my absolute favourite. Chicken Karachi was a keeper. Loved it!! The beef kebab was okay. I’m particularly not a kabab loving person!! All in all it was a great family dinner time.
Great ambiance, Top notch service.Taiba was very welcoming and friendly. I had an amazing portion of Beryani and it’s way more than enough to fill a big appetite.Would highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a new place to try.Splendid experience & will definitely return!!!
Ordered the chicken biryani and the chicken was dry, as if it was day old chicken and reheated. OIL ALERT, IF YOU LOVE OILY BIRYANI COME TO THIS PLACE. After a few years of being closed and now reopened, you all have certainly lost your touch. Ive experienced this a few times in the past and never complained but after being closed for a while i thought you would have maintained some standard. I only ordered the chicken biryani because if you cant get that right then I don't want to know anything else on your menu. DISAPPOINTED. Do not recommend this place at all.
Amazing food, the chicken biryani is full of flavour and so yum, Taiba at the order desk provides a good customer service. Great to have food time back again
