One of my favorite all you can eat sushi places in Pickering. Variety of other items are served as well. Food is fresh and tasty! Service is great as well!
This sushi/thai restaurant is a welcoming change from the overly crowded, crazy busy other Japanese restaurants in the area. This restaurant offers delicious food, food selection and its presentation are consistently eye catching. Prices are reasonable, a wonderful array of choices. Staff are friendly, the highlight is the robot who commands one's attention with his busy duties, singing Happy Birthday and making a special delivery to children joining their parents for a meal. We truly enjoy the service at Dragon Roll reataurant. Definitely recommend......
Food quality is ok. I like their green curry shrimp. Management is what makes eating at this restaurant an absolute nightmare. If you have a problem you are challenged and shamed. I had a manager that argued with me for 20 minutes about a problem I had with a food item. The beef tartarki, at this restaurant, was prepared in a way that I found suspicious. I tried to eat it but it was so chewy that I couldn’t swallow it without choking. I tried my best to eat this time and time again because I was made to feel bad about criticizing the food quality. Basically the insistent response I got was that they checked with the chef and the food is fine. To add insult to injury, they told me, mid dinner, that if I didn’t eat it they would charge me for it. This confrontational behaviour made me very uncomfortable and ruined my dinner. I didn't eat the remaining dish and decided to pay for the food instead of eating it and getting sick. They charged my almost as much for the objectionable food items as I would pay for the entire dinner menu.
My wife and I enjoyed the all you can eat Sushi lunch, friendly service, foods above average , even have a Robot server. recommended.
Order take out for pick up online and was ready in 30 mins. Maki rolls were fresh and tasty 5/5! Ordered P05; Maki Tray with Calamari, Scallops and cheese wonton. If you ordered more than $50 before tax you will get free items so we got the spicy crab roll and spring rolls.
Went here with my friends for lunch! Service is great and so is the food. They have the all you can eat. Sushi is great and so was the grill stuff. We enjoyed the dessertThe place is kid friendly and very clean
I've been here a couple of years back but switched to a la carte sushi at Odine which was affordable. I revisited because wanted ayce and their price is decent with variety vs others in the Durham area. Definitely new changes with the new management. Enjoyed their robot server and it sings for birthdays so it would be a joy for anyone celebrating here. Went for lunch on a weekend and had great options including sashimi and teppanyaki which usually others offer for dinner only. If you're looking for ayce sushi I would recommend this place
I am utterly disgusted with the service of this restaurant. My wife and I arrived at 8:30pm and last call was 9:30pm which is fine we ordered and the food was there. I had to ask for my own pop refill since our waitress never came around. She used 2 red solo cups and poured them in our pop cups…At 9:35pm the waitress brought our receipts and a machine to pay. The waitress kept walking back and forth to pick up our dishes and we were not even done eating… they closed at 10pm. I felt rushed and uncomfortable. I asked my wife to just leave the food and let’s go. On my way out I asked the lady at the front what time they closed? She said 10pm. So I said technically I have until 10pm to finish my meal and not feel rushed…I wouldn’t recommend this place and we wont be returning.
To preface, we went for a-la-carte. I ordered something from the kitchen, while they got sushi.I expected the food to come at different times, but I got nothing by the time the person I was with completely finished their meal. I asked them to cancel my order instead, since we were planning on leaving at that point, which was when I was told my meal was packaged as takeout. They brought the takeout container over, and asked me if I was willing to just, eat it there, served in the takeout bag and container...We ended up paying for it and leaving. Would not recommend based on the service. I was told the sushi wasn't great either, but I wasn't the one who got it.
For many years, I always have a great experience at this AYCE restaurant. Food was well presented and tasty. They did some upgrades and updates on their menu. Customer service is always superb and prices are reasonable I believe. I love this restaurant and keep up all the great work!!
