Ordered the curry beef with roti. Everything was good except the beef. They used the same thin sliced beef, like if you ordered beef and broccoli in a chinese restaurant. Tasted boiled then put in the curry.
First time visiting this place. Food portions were very generous. Price was reasonable and felt great considering how large the portions were. Everything was delicious, Spicy rice was a bit too spicy but that's alright. Calamari was delicious as well as the Chilli Chicken. Will definitely be coming back!
Large portions and great options! Not for people who can’t handle spice. Quick and friendly service. Only thing we didn’t like is the chicken and fries we got for our child it wasn’t fried well looked like frozen food.
Delicious. Great portions. Service was good.
It was late afternoon and my wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try locally. Let's support our small local businesses! I did a little bit of research and came across this restaurant on Google. We were very hungry so we ordered four dishes.1. Pepper shrimp chow mein2. Curry goat with roti3. Alex chicken with steam rice4. Spicy garlic calamariThe restaurant was not busy just a bunch of older guys drinking at the bar. They have a mix and match 5 bottle beer bucket for $19.99. This includes Heineken, Corona, Coors light, Budweiser, Molson Canadian. We noticed their special was $5.99 calamari with choice of spicy garlic, black bean or hot spicy sauce. Great deal!!!The food came out altogether which was nice. Food was hot and spicy. Good thing we had a pitcher of water to wash all it down! The pepper shrimp chow mein had lots of crispy shrimps on top of chow mein noodles (Hakka style noodles). The shrimps were spicy but not over the top. I would have liked more noodles underneath. It seems like the portion is smaller compared to other chowmein dishes.Curry goat had lots of meaty pieces of goat which fall off the bone. The spice level was milder. The roti had plenty of lentils and was great for dipping in the curry. Wife enjoyed itAlex chicken was a chef's specialty named after the owner. There were long pieces of chicken thigh meat coated with a spicy sauce and mixed with onions, green and red chilies. This is similar to dry chili chicken but with a unique taste.Last dish we had was spicy garlic calamari. This was a big surprise as the dish was full of cripsy pieces of calamari stir fried with spicy garlic sauce. This house special at $5.99 was amazing and we will definitely order it again. We will probably come back and try some other items on the menu like their sizzling plates and chef specialty.
We have ordered from Caribbean Heat a few times for work and for personal events and everyone is always very happy with how tasty the food is and the size of the dishes (quantity size is great). The wontons are a huge hit with everyone. The calamari is delicious! We usually order the sweet and sour chicken, chow mein noodles, beef short ribs, mixed fried rice, fried chicken, wontons, and the fried fish. They always come through when we order for the staff and everything is so delicious and tasty. We definitely will always order from them in the future. If you are in the area, order from them...you will be happy you did.
Yummy spicy peppered shrimp and rice!
I've wanted to try this place for a couple of years. I regret waiting so long. Very, very tasty food. Loved every dish. Pepper Shrimp Fried Rice to die for. General Tao, Kung Pao Chicken and Spicy Beef Short Ribs - all tasty. Special Chicken Lo Mein was phenomenal. Lots of leftovers to look forward to tomorrow
Quite possibly the worst chicken I’ve ever had in a roti. Was the typical low-grade dark meat slimy rubber chicken.80% of the meal went in the garbage.
Tried this place for the first time based on a recommendation. Chow mein lacked any kind of flavour including salt. So tasteless... Fried rice was overcooked so it was dry and hard. BBQ chicken tasted ok, but was also on the dry side (probably overcooked). We won't be coming back for food at this restaurant.
