This place is pretty cool! They have Korean chilly powder I was looking for! I bought watermelon here and it was sooo delicious ? they also have butane fuel gas cartridge 4 for $9.99!! Its pretty cool place! They even have take out food! Definitely a place you must check out!!
No quality control at the Al-Shifa halal meat section. The packaged meat section needs to have reduced prices for aging meats. A prepackaged beef flat steak package I saw on May 31 was still there and for sale with no price reduction on June 6 even though the meat was discoloured and obviously going bad. Also the men at the meat counter put large chunks of ice inside the plastic bag with the chicken legs adding to the weight which costs more, so watch for that
Clean and neatly organized grocery store. I love that I can get a lot of ethnic food here which is not common in the Durham area. They also have a good variety of fresh meats and fish. In addition, they combine products and provide deals which is a good approach in bulk purchase at a good price.
This the second time I buy halal meat and chicken when they have them on sale , both the times the meat was smelling like going bad and the chicken has gone or going bad (slimey). The times I bought the stuff a regular price it was okay. I agree with a customer who said they do not give you from the display sometimes. Advice do not buy the meats on sale, another advice before checking out open the package and smell the stuff because of you drive 25 km to home you have little incentive to go back for returns. I do not give bad reviews except when the issue is recurrent and to give a wake up call to management to take a closer look at issues . I saw many reviews here that drew attention to meat quality. I like the variety of merchandise in the store that makes it one stop for all needs and hope they rectify the meat issues

I really enjoy going to Blue sky supermarket. It is just off the highway. Great location. Great size and variety. I am able to find everything I need at reasonable prices. I only wish there was another one of the closer to home as I live in Scarborough. Furthermore, the staff here are great and are often able to help if you have any questions about the location of a product. The staff also do a great job in maintaining the cleanliness of the supermarket
Great inventory ( variety & amount) on stuff, communication is a big challenge, we stuffed our cart and were walking through the thin isles of frozen seafood not even for a minute, only to look back N find our carts were gone..no one even bothered to enquire before taking them and placing all the items back on their respective shelves. We had to go all the way again collecting the same items and yes there were many items.Not a good experience, thought might return to get stuff not easily available in other stores in Clarington.
Rude cashiers deter me from coming back
Prices may be good, produce can be fresh! Yup agreeBut, the worst customer service I have ever seen in my almost 50 years.Today, because I wanted to purchase what I wanted , vs what was on sale and was being pushed . They actually threw the bag at me after yelling at me throughout the whole time they were preparing. Also, had my young daughter with me..There must be customer service standard that have to be adhered to at all times..Lots of customers , at all times.They won’t miss me…Also, this was 2nd time not speaking English was a reason to abuse me..Good times
