My wife, Hollie and I, were able to enjoy this grill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were delighted with the location overlooking the river and the fact that it is on-site of the Holiday Inn where we were staying. We were amazed with the food, live entertainment, service and the patio overlooking the river.A huge thankyou to Choa! You were so kind and generous to us, and all the while doing every job imaginable in a restaurant setting, always with a smile for your guests ?. We hope to see you, Choa, when we return next summer!
Best beef brisket sandwich and fries I have ever had! Amazing bbq sauce too! My bf had the smoked 1/4 chicken and it was really good as well!
We had not been to this restaurant since before Covid and thought it would be a nice spot to have lunch on a beautiful day. The setting was beautiful, however, our meal left so much to be desired!First of all I will say through no fault of the waitress. My husband ordered chicken wings and wanted the sauce on the side…wings came in the sauce, the waitress offered to change them but that would have meant I would be eating and he would get his after I finished.I ordered the cranberry, avocado salad. It came on a side plate and a quarter of the plate was taken up with the container that had the dressing in it. There might have been a cup of greens! The avocado was hard and tasteless. I would have thought it would have dried cranberries, no, fresh sour cranberries, half were soft and going rotten. I have to say it was absolutely disgusting! It was $17.00! I would be ashamed to charge that price for the little that was on my plate, it was a side salad at best. The only positive thing…the drinks were good!
Terrible service. Waitresses wouldn't even make eye contact. Not just with us the customers oin the middle section of the patio were all laughing about it. One family after complaining to the host team then waiting anther 15 minutes finally left. Good thing you have an inexhaustible supply of tourists otherwise you'd be out of business.
I arrived with my two children and my wife, where we were seated and told a server would be right with us. After 15 minutes, my wife went to inquire and we were told “sorry someone will be right there. After ten more minutes we said that’s enough and left. Unfortunately because we like the place but how clueless do you have to be to let a hungry family go unattended for 25 minutes???
This place has SO much potential. The seating and view is beautiful, but the service is terrible. I do not blame the staff for this one bit, I blame management. The servers are not trained properly, she didn't even know what was on tap (turns out it was 3 beers). They also have to run through the parking lot to the kitchen, maybe some 'runners' should be hired to stay on top of food orders so servers can tend to the guests. We waited so long for drinks and food (about 6 tables there). Burger was good, poke bowl was okay. They need a few more options. The menu is a little pricey especially considering the service. I'd happily pay the price for the view if service was top notch. We read reviews and decided to give it a try anyways - we will not be back until reviews turn around.
Long wait for drinks, even longer wait for food. The burger was pretty good, not worth the 40+ minute wait. And there was probably only 5 other tables on the patio. This place has potential to be an awesome spot, great location… but something has to give.
This was a very overpriced experience, the menu is not the best (especially for vegetarians) portions and creativity did not match price point. Atmosphere outdoors is great, especially when they have live music. Service was nice too
Tried eating here three times, and all three times our experience here was poor. Poor quality of food, poor service and horribly long wait times. All three times we were one of 2 or 3 other patrons. This place needs new ownership, a new chef, and a rebrand. The location and patio is being wasted with this current restaurant.I would invest in any endeavour, with new ownership, to bring a classy dining and entertainment experience to this space.
Booked a reservation for mother's day brunch and couldn't be more disappointed. Spent the majority of our time waiting on food trays to be brought out, seemed as though kitchen was understaffed or they overbooked reservation as food could not keep up with demand. Asked to speak to manager and was told I'd have to wait for awhile as he was busy so we left after paying our 240$ bill for food that wasn't there. Manager called a day later and basically said I was lying as nobody else complained which I knew was not true as the two tables beside us were also unhappy and people in the buffet room were also complaining. On top of all that the food was not as good as I remembered. Poor quality, poor quantity and a manager who could care less about his customers. Too bad as we used to really enjoy it.
