Been here many times over the years and everything was great as usual today (friendly service, great food). Even came up from Toronto. Everything was perfect and I only give a 4 as the washrooms were simply disgusting. Could be covid and understaffed but the great lunch was marred by a washroom that had a plugged toilet (women’s), and was simply disgusting (men’s room had feces on seat). Constructive criticism… If staff or owner is reading this, your washrooms are as critical as your service and food.
What’s this with the bunch of bad reviews, albeit old? The house special spaghetti is to die for, loaded with terrific grilled vegetables, tasty meatballs and an obviously homemade and very rustic first class marinara. This is as good as spaghetti gets folks. The place is bland outside, nicely renovated inside. Service was excellent. Overall a great experience. Old school maybe but not even close to one star! I’d definitely go back to try more on the menu, but on the basis of what we had today, this one rates a solid five.
Excellent pizza and pasta! Amazing deals on family meals. The gold has always been fresh and delicious. I'm not even the biggest fan of pizza and I really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back
My husband and I ordered panzarottis from here tonight and let me begin by saying they are the biggest panzarottis I've ever seen! They taste incredible, will definitely have enough for a second meal! This will be our new go to spot! Staff were super friendly and food was prepared quickly! Seriously incredible food!
I got the panzerotti, it was very good, I would ask for extra cheese next time. The restaurant doesn't look great from the outside but the inside is nice and the people are friendly. The price is very good and I would recommend this place to others.
My Brother, and me were in Peterborough for the Stock Car races at Peterborough Speedway over Father's Day Weekend 2022. Looking for an Italian restaurant. Fortunate to have drove by this Restaurant. Order Spaghetti Dinners. Both of us agreed Best Ever Spaghetti Dinners!
Unfortunately it was a busy day and only one person making the food. My Panzerotti was undercooked. I had pepperoni, extra cheese and mushrooms and green pepper. The bottom dough was not cooked.The other meal was baby back ribs. And they were overcooked.We ordered spaghetti on the side and got French fries in stead.It was a take out order so it was not possible to return it. I'm not that picky also. But it was 3 mistakes made.Just being honest.
So we are in Peterborough on a personal visit which we were here for five days. Looking for local culinary experience as being in the food industry for over 30 years we found the original Spaghetti pizzareia. Small but very friendly with the owner in the kitchen. We had a Ceasar salad to start which I was amazed that it was a homemade dressing very uncommon anymore! Then we I had the spaghetti specialty and my wife a Penne with chicken and vegetables absolutely delicious! Portions were generous. Then I saw a pizza go by which I on the fence on which to order. We both agreed we would come back the next day for that. We did and were not disappointed fresh dough generous toppings and cheese! I appreciate an independent business and when they can produce and be humble at the same time as the owner was. Thumbs up, Peterborough be very grateful for what you have as there's two people who are totally jealous!!

Went on Easter Sunday for a lazy family dinner. It was not my first visit and it sure won't be my last. We had several different dishes and each was excellent. Once again we were all satisfied beyond the price we paid. The staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Definitely enjoyed by everyone.
