Nice location with a good bar. There is lots of parking as well. They have a great wine selection and the drinks were also very good. It is exactly what you want from a Keg steak House. Went here for dinner with my wife and daughter. The service was great and the drinks were also great. My steak was cooked perfectly and I thought my meal was very good. My wife and daughters were not as well cooked and we unfortunately got a bad steak (meaning it was tough) but those things happen. The staff were completely understanding and corrected the issue. I would go back as I had a nice time and meal.
Had a great experience tonight. Drinks came Quick along with apps. We had the Caesar salad with Neptune mushrooms and they were both 10/10. Salad was perfectly chilled with crispy lettuce, not watery and dressing was perfect along with fresh parm. Neptune mushrooms were so tasty if you’re into cheesy goodness. Blue filet cooked medium rare, zero complaints, just perfect. Also had the 10 oz filet cooked medium rare and it was exactly the way we asked for it. Thanks for a great anniversary experience! We will be back! Oh and our server was just lovely! Great music too!!

We drove from Brantford to Peterborough yesterday to celebrate our daughter’s birthday with her. The service and the food were fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about our waitress. She was very attentive without being intrusive. She was very friendly. I highly recommend the Keg in Peterborough!
Worst experience I have ever had at a Keg. Ordered the take out. Decided to try the Rib SteakFor the first time. Ordered medium rare. Once home and opened up everything found that my steak was completely raw and so fatty and grizzly. About half the steak was just fat and so bloody that I could not eat it. Blood was pooled inside the container. Was absolutely disgusting. $62 meal went right to the garbage. Will never get takeout from the again.
It was a brisk Friday evening, a cold breeze rolled into the Keg and the only thing that could warm me up sufficiently was the bartender - Steven. I can’t thank him enough for keeping not only the drinks flowing but for keeping my desire doing the same. I can’t recommend him enough. Great family restaurant.

We enjoyed our booth table location compared to our last table. The food was good but cold.The negative part of our experience was the service. It was rushed but the server was pleasant. As soon as we sat we were asked about drinks. We asked for recommendations because we hadn’t had a chance to look at the menu. She recommend a good cav sav. However we would have got a bottle had we had a chance to look at the menu or if the waitress had suggested the bottle with the price savings. Then our salad quickly arrived and we had only had time for a sip or two. We had no bread and had to ask. Then after eating 1/4 of our salad our food arrived. Way way too soon. So it sat on the table and got cold. The only thing that took time was after we received our bill it took about 10 minutes before she collected our money. We were late getting seated (15-20 minutes). Which was fine we were happy others got a nice experience. But they obviously were trying to catch up. Online it said table for two would be about 90 minute experience. We were about 40-45 minutes which includes the wait for the bill. So we gave a better rating than we should have because I really struggle with not giving a perfect rating. We were very disappointed because we were there New Year’s Day and had booked my birthday Jan 8 and the government shut restaurants down. I didn’t get a birthday. So we were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day (first time out since lock down). We had arranged a driver to drop and pick us up so we could have a few drinks. We had not expected a drive thur type of experience. So we didn’t have a valentines experience we had hoped for. We came home and had a glass of wine. The only power I had was to leave a poor tip (13%) way lower than our usual tip. I don’t like to complain because what was done was done and it wouldn’t have changed anything last night.
As always we have enjoyed the food, ambiance and friendly staff!
