First time trying Sunset Grill,The food was delicious, but the experience was more than unpleasant. The server was rude since we arrived (the only ones in the restaurant, long before closure). She proceeded to make uncomfortable comments about my friends weight and their food choices. It killed our appetite. We paid and left immediately. Would have been a wonderful breakfast place if it wasn’t for her attitude and unprofessional behaviour.

Decided to have breakfast here during our Canada Day visit to Peterborough. The service was perfect, actually better than any other Sunset Grill. My daughter and I decided to have pancakes but we both knew three were too many. Our server said we could get two each which turned out to be the kids's portion. That's ok, cause it was just enough. Wish other servers thought of this

Very busy. A nice selection in the menu. Sizes were big, considering the majority of the clientele were hard working men. Waitress was a spot of sunshine and looked after my sister and I very well. Definitely a Sunshine place to go to.

Tasty food, pretty reasonable prices, friendly prompt service.

Come every 2 weeks but unfortunately today the eggs were undercooked and the has browns were raw. I notified a staff member and she just gave a quick response and didn't notify kitchen staff. Pretty disappointing for a father's day meal.

Good breakfast and service. Choc milk was sour but they replaced it. Home fries were great and pricing was on par with other restaurants

Always amazing ...the owners are great the staff is amazing ..waitress are smoking hot just like the coffee. A must go million times better than whimpys or the other junk they serve in Peterborough

Right in the heart of Peterborough- I know it's not downtown but on main Lansdowne.Ample parking though it did get crowded when we were leaving. The place is trendy and kind of upscale.Ambience was great!!!The food served is really good with lots of options and customisation possible.I felt the staff were more professional than warm - they were not rude or anything but lacked that smile. It's also possible they were that way as it was really really busy.Prices are on the steeper side though not a deterrent.Lovely experience for the family and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning out.

Great atmosphere n great service!! Food is amazing…

We decided to have breakfast there as we were leaving the hotel. The restaurant has a wonderful view, and we have visited the patio a few times for drinks and apps when in town and have enjoyed it. However, this visit was not great. There were 3 of us, and we all ordered tea, the waitress brought us I little pot of tea meant for 1 and no milk or sugar. We kept trying to get the waitresses attention to no avail, and finally flagged down the other waitress who brought us 2 more teas, as well as milk and sugar. We all ordered the standard breakfast - eggs, bacon and home fries. The home fries were tasteless (no problem, I can add salt), but they were ice cold. I’m sorry, I don’t usually complain, but when 3 people for breakfast cost almost $70.00 I expect much better…
