Best Thai in Peterborough imo. Owner drives in from Toronto everyday and brings in ingredients straight from Thailand- respect.
Good service, clean, and amazing quality food! The menu offers a wide range of options and has many vegan/vegetarian dishes. Very underrated place in the city in my opinion, certainly the best Thai restaurant here!
My husband and i went for lunch. Waitress was friendly. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Price was reasonable and quantity was generous. Will definitely go back and recommend to griends.
Our first encounter with the Real Thai PTBO was a delivery. The food was delicious but we knew we had to dine in at the restaurant itself for a complete experience. We were correct! The Real Thai PTBO has cemented itself as our go-to restaurant for Thai food (or great food for that matter) - with its excellent food, creative food presentation, restaurant ambience, and friendly interactions with the owner and our server!

I LOVE this place! It's been my most consistent take out choice throughout the pandemic, and eating in there was lovely once too when they were able to have indoor customers. The food is consistently delicious (favourites include the pad prik chicken, panang curry, spicy eggplant, and mango sticky rice - YUM). It is also awesome that they have a dedicated vegan menu, which makes Real Thai an easy choice for almost anyone!
Excellent veg/vegan options! We love the fresh mango & papaya salad options, and the noodle dishes we've tried have all been great.Very tasty & fresh, good portion sizes, and super nice people!
Overpriced & Underwhelming! Rice tofu and 4 pieces of pineapple for close to $20. Greasy and under flavoured. I would not order again.
Great food with excellent presentation. A really good selection of dishes beyond the basic Pad Thai and curries. Flavour is only a small step below some of my favourite Thai places from the big city, and the full vegan menu is an awesome option with really nice meat substitutes. Only loses a star because of a limited drink menu and mediocre atmosphere.
