Honestly no better quality than all-you-can-eat and it's the same price, the sushi was decent quality and the food tasted fine overall, but why spend the same amount for the same quality but much less food? The vegetables in the fried rice are literally just Costco frozen vegetables mix. Disappointing.
Ordered through Skip the dishes and they forgot the sauce for my tempura. Not a big deal, but they called me, got my address and delivered it themselves! Completely blown away by that dedication to customer service. Not to mention that they have delicious food! Definitely check them out, and I will continuously order from them. Thank you so much, you guys seriously went above and beyond.

Best sushi I’ve ever had. Recently visited Peterborough was craving some sushi, this place blows Toronto sushi out of the water. The quality and the size of each maki is well above average. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean and tidy restaurant and presentation is amazing !
Its a nice sushi spot. I liked the atmosphere, the staff, and the sushi was decent. The thing i didnt like was all the take out order pickups coming every 2 minutes. Its surely an important part of their business and i get the need but it kind of ruins the dine-in experience, especially if the restaurant is getting cold from the door opening so many times.

Poor. Ordered chicken teriyaki rolls. Chicken was awful! Rubbery and taste was off. Called to give my input and I was told no one else complained. Like that matters, didn’t offer to make up anything. Wasted my money. Will not be eating here again.
Freshest ingredients, presented beautifully, amazing service. It is the best sushi restaurant in the area. A definite “go to” restaurant !
A decent restaurant if you like the following:1) wait 35 minutes for your food and be told that they have started making it2) salmon sashimi is in tiny 0.5 inch squares. (first time I have seen cheap cuts like this).I am rating this place 1-star given how poorly they prioritize dine-in customers. It is built like a ghost kitchen, entirely catered toward takeout. More than 20 Uber drivers in the restaurant at one time while you waiting for your food.Stay away from here. Bad food bad service not worth your time.
We haven't had the opportunity to dine in for awhile. So my husband and myself had a take out lunch, ate in the car- it was lovely. Aside from the cramped car ambiance, food was amazing, staff for take out was friendly! We will continue to support Matsu Sushi as we have in the past. Well done!!!!!
