We got takeout over the weekend and it was amazing. It’s our favourite Indian food spot in town. So fresh and flavourful with large portions. Always recommend this place to family and friends.
To start great service ! The gentlemen at the counter was polite and friendly. The food was awesome first time trying this restaurant and we will be back for sure ! . The flavours packed in the dishes we ordered were authentic and executed perfectly ! Don’t hesitate to try it you won’t be disappointed. 5/5
The food from This restaurant is top notch. Their chicken biryani is the best I’ve ever ate. The portions are generous as well. I haven’t had a dish from this restaurant that wasn’t good. Their chicken tikka, the Channa masala and butter chicken are amazing. You can tell the chef cooks it with love. This restaurant has great food! Really loved all the vegetarian options and the service was incredible . The staff was very friendly and live up to the name. Highly recommend it for large groups- we celebrated a friends birthday here and had the food catered and they did a wonderful job. Really yummy naan too :) thanks to the Friendly Indian Cuisine for making a great meal and a wonderful memory!
Ordered to go and brought home some absolutely delicious Lamb Tikka Masala, Gobi Pakora and Vegetable Pulao! The smell was to die for and the flavours pack a punch! Reasonably priced and thoroughly enjoyable! We will definitely be back again :)
Literally this is the best Indian food we have ever had. We lived in Toronto for 3 1/2 years don’t get me wrong there is amazing in the Indian food there but after coming here (Peterborough/home) and having tasted literally every Indian restaurant… As soon as Friendly’s opened we were obsessed. We order from these guys at least once a month. It is literally the best Indian food you can ever taste there’s samosas are amazing and FYI I don’t care for samosas at all unless it comes from Friendly’s restaurant. I hope you guys enjoy it really is the best pick!!! Just to let you know I’m up SAST with their butter chicken. You can have it spicy or more other creamy tomato taste either way it’s absolutely mouthwatering
We ordered the dinner for 2 for take out last night, WOW. It is easily enough food for 4 people! Absolutely delicious... certainly among the best Indian food we've ever eaten, even the Naan was fabulous. Veg samosas were YUM. Its definitely going to be our go to for Indian cuisine from now on.
AMAZING FOOD!! Quotes from roommates as we eat the food currently: “The sauce on the butter chicken is ✨divine✨” “This is the butter chicken I’ve been wanting and failing to find for the past two years” “OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG” -Some long moments of silence as food was being eaten. Too good to speak. “Wow that’s spicy!!!” (In a great way!) “This is not too spicy!” (In a great way as well!) Also worth mentioning that we called them before ordering they were very kind, friendly, answered questions we had (have an allergy in the house) and helped us to make sure we ordered things the right way to be safe for that.
Legendary. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of complex, layered flavours. All of the biryani are excellent, and the sag aloo is just perfect. The people who run this place really know what they are doing and I wish them every success. A welcome addition to Peterborough!
Finally ordered from here after driving past on way to work for months. FABULOUS. the curries were delicious. the chicken pakora was great. I ordered the meal deal for 1 and it was a lot of food. excellent value for the price and the taste was great. We have found our new fav takeaway.
